Anyone know of a ZZ indicator which produces output of average bars per swing?

I'm basically just looking for the average trend size in number of bars.

I've crawled the web for hours and can't seem to find anyone having created one that suggests what the average number of bars per trend cycle of the zigzag.

Thanks for any references or a solution.

ZigZag is set for a minimum number of bars lookback (the InpDepth).

So it may not be quite right for what you want.

You need to further define what you are looking for, as swings, or trends, can occur within a few bars or a few hundred bars, depending on how you define it and set up your chart.

Dagoods, it works for mt4 it is a script and goes in mq4/scripts folder
