Is there a URL to read more rgds the VPS and how we can use that? I am purely subscribe to MQL signals via MQL5 community, hope you can help, google and didnt get any results. I am interested to know how to manage the subscription and other t&c of that rental
Eg I subscribe to a signal, then selected a VPS to run my mt4 automatically via MQL services. Then after say 1 mth I decided to unsubs to this signal and wanted another signal (maybe same trading acct or different). Then how do I configure this current VPS to run this new signal especially when its a different mt4. i guess vps may not be sensitive if I change to another signals, it will continue trading with the new signal
Also whether I can add mt4 there to run test on other signals. Its looks great and its something to look forward to. Too tired of having issues with lousy vps providers and this give traders a good avenue for great stable service
I am now at 670 but I dont have options on EA to allow modification of signals coz I am just running a signal subscription, I dont even have that box since its not an EA. Does this new parameter comes automatically or its build into that EA (that is developer has codes to build it on new EA or add to existing EA).
For MQL subscription of signal, there is no need for me to include the MQL community to allow Webrequest for listed URL? They just kinda of dump it on us without any hand holding before this or announcement that its coming/ Wish they can educate us better
The first post of this topic seems clear to me. Once registered your Virtual Server, you can synchronize your terminal with the VPS. If you change your signal subscription, use Synchronize->Signal Only.
However this service doesn't seem to be available yet.

I am not clear how this is useful. For signal subscription, it has always been ONE signal subscription ONE mt4 trading acct.
"By default, a trading robot is not allowed to change signal settings for security reasons. To enable this function, tick the "Allow modification of Signals settings" option in Expert Advisor settings."
When I subscribe to a signal,I cant run a trading EA as well. I can run an order management EA that DONT trade but manage my sl/tp independently, or even trade copier EA *)
Pls if anyone has any idea what this does, help to explain here. Many thanks

Build 670 creates huge log files in /tester/logs for me that can exceed 4 to 5GB during a 10000 pass genetic optimization run. Build 660 didn´t do that. It logs the stop loss (my EA uses a trailing stop) for each and every order during all the 10000 passes in that log-files, just the run below of 206 passes creates a file with a size of 50mb! What the heck is this and how can I disable it? Build 660 doesn´t do it at all (just verified again).
I guess it´s point #14 of the new build 670 which says: "Terminal: Added logging of stop loss, take profit and pending order triggering in the terminal journal. Entries are added in the journal only for the active trading account, and only if the terminal is connected at the time of activation."
However, why is it logging all of this for each optimization run, makes few sense except you want to swamp your HD with gigabyte big files. Also, there is no way to disable it it seems. And I am not connected to my broker at all btw but run the optimization in offline mode (and it makes no difference too, just verified).
Fixed errors reported on the forum and in crash logs.
I think this is not quite correct.
I have reported an error where all toolbars shift all the way to the left when build 646 was released (https://forum.mql4.com/62849/page4) and this issue still persist in build 670. This problem is quite annoying and is very obvious and easy to test. It used to work all fine prior to build 646.
