No I don't know, however since you're talking about news effect on forex, you may want to read everything you can read on http://www.elliottwave.com/

As an elliottician I don't believe in "news effect".

1) There is a feature on MT5 which displays news release information in your terminal, but I think it requires your broker to have news feed turned on. You might be able to use that info in an indicator yourself.

2) I recently found this interesting tool on a broker's website. (I don't use this broker, and I have no relationship with it, so I'm not trying to advertise it, but I can't post it here without mentioning the name - sorry. I'll delete this if required.)

I haven't tried yet, but you might be able to lift back data from there.

3) I assume you already have this or something similar? I think it downloads the info from DailyFX. I've not tried this either, but you might be able to mine more back data from there than just the 1 week downloaded by the indicator.

You might wanna try download TickStory Lite it's free and set it to attach to your MT4 installation folder.

Then you can download the history data by date specified and also you can set parameter such as spread, min lot size, max lot size etc. to match your condition then you can use that data to run tester.

Or simply view the chart.
