I plan to order the development of an indicator and an Expert Advisor.
They should work together, according to the corresponding handle of the indicator.
On each chart with an Expert Advisor, a graphical control and indication panel for the traded pair (buttons for trading on the market, placing orders, balance of positions and orders, etc.).
Plus a separate summary-statistical panel for all the copies of Expert Advisors running in the terminal.
Also, after debugging the Expert Advisor in a couple of months, we plan to do additional work to prepare a version of the Expert Advisor with a reduced number of settings - foolproof.
Question:
The work involves a phased implementation, with the acceptance of each of the elements of the system by the customer, testing and identification of bugs. And continuation of work only after satisfactory result of the current stage.
From the customer's side I bear risks - the competence of the contractor at a certain stage will be insufficient, and I will be left with an unfinished project. I will have to start with a new person and pay for the code rewritten anew.
What possibilities does the "Freelance" service have for streamlining the step-by-step execution and payment of work?
My interest is to find a person who will take up and bring the work to the end, and not jump in the middle, so ordering each element of the work separately - fraught.

You can stipulate this with the contractor, and carry out all the stages within one job, each time increasing the time and cost of the work.
For example, start with $200/5 days (the first stage). If everything is done in time and works, you increase the cost and terms to $400/10 days (add $200/5 days for the second stage), and so on - until you get the desired result.
At any time, if the developer disappears, you can write to arbitration and unfreeze all the money. You will only lose time and arbitration fee.
