EdgeX is an automated trading system developed specifically for XAUUSD. Instead of relying on a single entry model, it combines several independent trading systems inside one Expert Advisor.
Each system has its own entry conditions, Stop Loss, Take Profit and trade management logic.
Why Multiple Trading Systems?
Market conditions are constantly changing.
A setup that appears frequently during one type of market environment may become less active during another. For this reason, EdgeX uses several independent systems rather than depending on one entry pattern.

The objective is not to predict every movement in Gold, but to wait for predefined conditions and execute them consistently.
Predefined Settings
Another important part of EdgeX is simplicity.
I wanted the EA to be usable without requiring the trader to optimize dozens of parameters before attaching it to a chart.
The main trading settings are therefore predefined.
The user still has control over important parameters such as position sizing, trading frequency and trade direction.
Trading frequency can be set to Standard or High, while direction can be limited to Buy Only, Sell Only or Both.
Risk Management
Every EdgeX position is managed with a predefined Stop Loss and Take Profit.
Position sizing can be based on a fixed lot or calculated as a percentage of account balance.
EdgeX also includes account-level controls for:
Daily loss limit
Maximum drawdown
Profit target
These controls can be useful for traders who operate accounts with predefined trading limits, including evaluation and funded account environments.
They are risk-management tools and do not guarantee that the requirements of any particular proprietary trading company will be met.

Gold can react strongly around important economic announcements.
EdgeX therefore includes protection for major events such as NFP, CPI and FOMC announcements, allowing trading activity to be controlled around periods of increased market volatility.

There are no unnecessary features added simply to make the EA appear more complicated.
