3 Weeks Live: +4.3% Turned to −6.3% — What I Found and What I Fixed (v1.60)

| 📉 Honest update: two weeks ago the GoldDragon live account was at +4.3%. Since then it turned negative again. As of 22 October it stands at −6.3%. |
I said I would publish the results good or bad. This one is bad. Here is what happened, what I found, and what I changed.
1️⃣ WHAT HAPPENED

October gold was a noise market: price broke out of its range, then quickly came back. Again and again.
2️⃣ WHAT I FOUND
I checked every live trade against the gold price data, bar by bar.
| 🔍 | Most of the damage came from 2 components. The others were mixed, and some were clearly profitable this month. |
| ↩️ | Follow-up entries: many losing trades had already reached +$20 to +$28 in profit — then reversed to the stop loss. The profit target was simply too far for this market. |
| ⚡ | One short-term breakout component: half of its losing trades never moved more than a few dollars in profit. The breakouts were failing almost immediately. |
3️⃣ WHAT I CHANGED — v1.60
| 🛠 Noise-market reinforcement ● Follow-up entries now take profit earlier. ● The short-term component was reworked for range markets, with a tighter stop loss. ● All other components stay exactly the same. |
| ✅ | No martingale. No grid. Every trade keeps a fixed stop loss. |
| 🧊 | No more strategy changes for the next 4 weeks — bug fixes only. Changing the code every week makes live results meaningless. |
| ⚠️ This change is based on 3 weeks of live data. It fits the current market better, but no adjustment can promise future results. That is why every result — including this one — is published openly. |
