Getting the account right decides a large part of what you will see. This page lists what Array Breakout X Gold Scalp needs.

1. Account
- MetaTrader 5, Hedging account (a Netting account merges positions and is not supported).
- An ECN / RAW / Low Spread account. A scalp system pays the spread on every trade; a wide spread eats a large part of a short move.
- Leverage 1:500 on gold strongly recommended. Lower leverage still works but needs more free margin.
- Standard and cent accounts are both supported. The EA detects a cent account by itself.
2. Symbol
Any broker's gold works: XAUUSD, XAUUSD.a, XAUUSDm, GOLD and similar names. Put the EA on the gold chart itself, timeframe M30.
3. Capital
- 150 USD is the minimum, 300 USD or more is recommended (about 300 USD per 0.01 lot).
- Start a real account on risk level Low. Try higher levels on demo first, or once the balance has grown.
- Next to Array Breakout X Gold on one account: add this on top of what you keep for X Gold.
4. VPS
Any VPS works; the stop loss and take profit sit on the broker's server. A VPS close to your broker's server gives faster fills, which matters more for short trades than for long ones.
5. Before you trade real money
Run it on a demo account of the same broker for a few weeks. Spread and commission differ between brokers, and the result follows them.
