This page is written for anyone who has just installed the EA, or is deciding whether to. It covers three things: what you should see on day one, what looks strange but is normal, and how to judge the results the right way.

---

1. Day one: what you should see

Drag the EA onto a gold M30 chart and switch on Algo Trading. The panel on the chart shows "ARRAY BREAKOUT X GOLD SCALP", your balance, the lot mode and the strategy row with its live status: READY, PENDING or IN TRADE.

If you attach the EA while the market is closed, the panel says "waiting for first tick". The figures appear when the market opens.

If you attached the EA while the Algo Trading button was still off, there is no need to remove and re-attach it. It places its orders the moment you switch the button on.

---

2. Things that look strange but are normal

No trade for a few days — normal. The EA waits for a nearby level to be broken. In quiet years it trades rarely; in busy years about three times a week.

Only one trade at a time — normal and intended.

Many cancelled orders in the history — normal. Pending orders that price did not reach in time are cancelled and placed again. It costs nothing.

No new trades around a major US announcement — normal. The EA steps aside by itself; an open trade carries on to its own stop and target.

Running next to Array Breakout X Gold — both panels show only their own trades. The account balance and drawdown are shared, so keep enough capital for both.

All pending orders vanish the moment the EA is removed — normal and intended. Open trades are not touched and keep their SL/TP. Always remove the EA while the Algo Trading button is still on.

3. One or two weeks tells you nothing yet

A scalp system wins often and loses bigger than it wins. In the test it won 73.4% of its trades; the average win was 6.07 USD and the average loss 10.73 USD at 0.01 lot. So:

- a single loss can take back two winning trades
- up to five losses in a row happened in the test
- a quiet month can end flat

Judge it over months, not days. Compare it with the backtest of the same period, not with a promise.

4. Test on your own broker first

Spread, commission and execution speed differ between brokers, and short trades feel them more than long ones. Run the EA on a demo account of your own broker for a few weeks before you trade real money.
