Which Gold EA Fits Your Account? HolyGrail, Gold Blitz and Gold Breakout Master
The reason I have three gold breakout EAs is that buyers want different things from them.
Some want more activity and shorter trades. Others are happy to wait for a selective setup and give a good move time to develop. Someone starting with a small balance also has different sizing concerns from someone running a larger account.
That is how I would choose between these three: the trading style you want, the capital available and the exposure you are comfortable carrying.
Start with the way you want to trade
| Your priority | The EA I would look at first |
|---|---|
| More trading activity and a scalping approach | Sycz Gold Blitz |
| Selective setups, patience and larger reward-to-risk opportunities | Sycz HolyGrail |
| A smaller starting account, with an emphasis on win rate and controlled drawdown | Sycz Gold Breakout Master |
These are the styles I am aiming to serve. Actual trade frequency, win rate and reward-to-risk will depend on the profile, market conditions and execution.
Gold Blitz: for the buyer who wants more activity
If you prefer shorter trades and want to focus on scalping gold, Blitz is where I would start.
Its Strike profile uses M15 analysis with its own entry and trade-management settings. There are also other profiles, including Wave for a swing approach, so there is room to choose a different pace within the same EA.
For the scalping profiles, pay attention to your broker. Spreads, commission and execution matter when you are working with shorter moves. I recommend an ECN account for Strike.
The trading profile and sizing profile are separate. You can choose the way it trades, then set the position sizing to suit your balance.
HolyGrail: for the buyer who is comfortable waiting
This is the one I would point you toward if you prefer selective setups and are looking for opportunities to get more from a move that follows through.
You need to be comfortable with quieter periods. A slow day does not automatically mean something needs adjusting. Sometimes the conditions simply are not there.
For someone interested in larger reward-to-risk opportunities, that patience matters. It does not mean every position has a large TP relative to its initial SL. Different strategies and trailing exits produce different realised outcomes.
There is also an important account-size difference here. Automatic mode uses your balance and selected Sizing DD percentage to determine sizing and the available activity level. More capital can make additional strategies available, depending on that setting. It does not mean that a larger balance forces trades every day.
Gold Breakout Master: for the smaller account and a focus on win rate
The brief for this one was to bring three selected breakout setups together in one system, with a focus on winning-trade consistency and controlled exposure.
If your first concerns are win rate, drawdown and whether the setup fits a smaller balance, this is the one I would suggest looking at first.
The published minimum starting balance is $200, with $500 recommended. The extra balance gives you more room when choosing sensible exposure; it should not become a reason to increase the lots immediately.
Automated sizing, trailing, separate news filters and configurable daily and total protection are included. The sizing DD target and the account loss limits do different jobs: one helps calculate position sizes; the other provides configured protection actions.
The aim is worthwhile profit potential while keeping risk measured. A high win rate still needs to be read alongside the size of the losses and the drawdown.
Why account size changes the choice
The purchase price is only one part of the decision. Your trading capital has to support the positions the system opens.
For Blitz, automatic sizing follows the selected capital profile. For example, its Safe profile uses a ratio of 0.01 lot per $400 of USD balance. That is a sizing ratio, not a minimum-deposit requirement.
With HolyGrail, balance can affect both sizing and strategy activity. With Breakout Master, the stated starting-balance guidance gives you a practical place to begin.
In every case, check the broker’s minimum lot and margin requirements. An automatic sizing calculation cannot make a small account absorb unlimited exposure.
What matters after the breakout
Putting a pending order around a breakout level is only part of the work.
Gold can break a level, move in your favour, pull back and then continue. It can also reverse almost immediately. Two systems entering around the same area can finish with different results because of how they manage the position.
That is where I put a lot of attention.
Fakeout and breakout-quality filters concern the setup before entry. They aim to screen out some weaker breaks. Once a position is open, stop loss, take profit and trailing have their own jobs to do.
Trailing involves a real trade-off. Tighten too quickly and a normal pullback can take you out before the move develops. Leave too much room and you can give back a useful part of the move.
My aim is to make more of the trades that follow through, protect progress when the rules allow it and limit the damage from failed setups. Every trade does not need the same exit treatment.
That is the part I want buyers to examine when comparing these EAs with other breakout systems: how the entry, filters, sizing and exits work together. The entry alone cannot show the whole picture.
Choose your EA on MQL5
For scalping and more activity, buy Sycz Gold Blitz.
For selective setups and room to pursue larger moves, buy Sycz HolyGrail.
For a smaller starting balance and an emphasis on win rate and controlled drawdown, buy Sycz Gold Breakout Master.
Open the product that matches your priorities and choose your starting profile carefully. If you want help deciding, message me on MQL5 with your balance, broker and preferred trading style.
I would rather help you choose a system you can stay comfortable running through both good periods and losing streaks. That is a much better starting point than choosing by the busiest chart or the highest win-rate number.
