EA Update: Why It Didn’t Trade — And What Changed

Over the past two weeks, I noticed something interesting with my EA.

It wasn’t trading much.

At first, it felt like missed opportunities — especially when looking back at clean moves that happened in the market.

But after reviewing the behaviour in detail, it became clear that the system wasn’t “broken”… it was being too restrictive.

The higher timeframe filter was blocking valid bearish conditions, which meant the EA was sitting out moves it should have been participating in.

This is something I’ve now adjusted.

What I’m seeing now:

• The EA still avoids low volatility and messy market conditions
• It waits for structure and momentum to align
• But now it can also participate properly in bearish trends
• Pyramiding behaviour remains controlled and consistent

---

One thing I’ve learned through this process:

It’s better for a system to miss trades than to overtrade.

The goal isn’t to catch every move — it’s to execute when conditions are actually valid.

---

I’ve also started sharing weekly updates showing:
• when the EA trades
• when it doesn’t
• how it behaves during different market conditions

No hype — just real behaviour.

If you’re running the EA, make sure you’re using the latest preset from the presets page.

Still refining and improving — but it’s starting to behave much closer to what I originally intended.
