Welcome! This guide covers everything you need to know about running, updating, customizing, and getting the most out of my EA—our stable, feature-rich Martingale trading system for MT4 & MT5.

ADJUST GENERAL PREFERENCES

• Pairs — Specifies which instruments or currency pairs the EA will trade (e.g., “XAUUSD”).
• Enable auto affix detection — Automatically detects and adjusts for broker symbol suffixes or prefixes.
• Define magic number — Unique identifier that distinguishes trades placed by this EA from other systems.
• Orders comment — Custom note that appears in each trade’s comment field for easy identification.

CLOSE TRADES ON LOSS

• Define maximum drawdown allowed — Sets the equity drawdown threshold that prevents new trades once reached.
• Orders close at equity DD — Automatically closes all active positions when the drawdown limit is triggered.

NEWS DETECTION LOGIC

• Activate high impact news filter feature — Stops trading around major economic news events.
• Activate medium impact news filter feature — Restricts trading during moderate news events.
• Activate low impact news filter feature — Adds protection against low-impact announcements.
• Define pause duration before news for trading — Specifies how many hours before news the system halts trading.
• Define pause duration after news for trading — Specifies how many hours after news the system resumes trading.

How to enable news filter in MT4/MT5

1. Go to Tools > Options (or press Ctrl + O ).
2. Select the Expert Advisors tab.
3. Tick Allow WebRequest for listed URL.
4. Add this URL: https://nfs.faireconomy.media and click OK.

ARRANGE EXTRA SETUP

• Backtest-agnostic tick gap for entries — Sets a minimum tick spacing between entry calculations for stability.
• Z-based anomaly filter for quotes — Filters out abnormal tick data using a statistical Z-score threshold.

CAPITAL RISK CONTROL

• Lot management method — Chooses how the EA calculates trade size (fixed, mid-risk, balance-based, etc.).
• Fixed lot size value — Sets a constant trade volume for all positions.
• Disable smart risk calc — Forces static risk control, ignoring automatic adjustments.
• Using a constant lot size per balance — Defines lot scaling relative to account balance (e.g., 0.01 lot per $100).

SIGNAL LOGIC

• Account shield (SL enforced on every order) — Ensures all trades are opened with a stop loss for prop-firm safety.
• Profit type setting — Determines whether profit targets are measured in USD or as a percentage of balance.
• Total profit (USD) setting — Defines the target profit amount in dollars before closing positions.
• Total profit % setting — Defines the target profit as a percentage of account balance.

MANAGE SIGNAL SETTINGS

• Max spread allowed — Defines the maximum allowed spread for opening new trades.

TIME-BASED ENTRIES

• Trading start time setup — Specifies when the system begins trading each day.
• Trading end time setup — Specifies when trading should stop each day.
• Use trading on Monday — Enables or disables trading activity on Mondays.
• Use trading on Tuesday — Enables or disables trading on Tuesdays.
• Use trading on Wednesday — Enables or disables trading on Wednesdays.
• Use trading on Thursday — Enables or disables trading on Thursdays.
• Turn on/off trading on Friday — Enables or disables trading on Fridays.

OPTIONAL FILTER LOGIC

• Toggle RSI filter on/off for signals — Activates an additional RSI-based condition for confirming trade signals.
• RSI filter period setup — Sets the number of periods used in RSI filter calculation.
• RSI filter timeframe setup — Defines the timeframe used for RSI signal filtering.
