Angels Eye v1.8 - User Manual & Input Guide

Angels Eye is a fully automated Expert Advisor for Gold trading. It combines multiple price action and breakout strategies across D1, H4 and H1, includes money management, a news filter, trading session control, pending-order management and basket trailing functionality.

Recommended minimum deposit: $1,000. For smaller balances, a Cent Account is recommended.

Recommended environment: fast broker, low slippage, low spread and a VPS close to the broker server.

1. General Settings

• Apply Angels Eye Chart Theme - Applies the matching Angels Eye chart colors automatically.
• Show Overview Panel - Shows the Angels Eye dashboard panel on the chart.
• Overview Panel Scale - Changes the text scale of the panel.
• Overview Panel X Offset - Moves the panel horizontally.
• Overview Panel Y Offset - Moves the panel vertically.
• Max Spread - Maximum allowed spread in broker points for new entries.
• Virtual expiration - Lets the EA manage pending-order expiration internally instead of relying only on broker-side expiration.

2. Trading Schedule & Sessions

• Disable Friday Trading - Stops new entries on Friday.
• Weekend Pending Protection - Removes broker-side pending orders before the Friday close and restores them after the Monday open.
• Remove Pending Orders Before Friday Close (min) - How many minutes before the broker's final Friday session close pending orders should be removed.
• Restore Pending Orders After Monday Open (min) - How many minutes after the broker's first Monday session open pending orders should be restored.
• Use Trading Time Filter - Enables the custom trading windows. If disabled, the EA can trade around the clock, except for weekend/news protections.
• Trading Window Time Zone - Selects the time base used by the windows: UTC or Broker Server Time.
• Window 1-4 Enabled - Enables up to four custom trading windows.
• Window 1-4 Start / End (HH:MM) - Sets the start and end time of each trading window.

Example: If you want the EA to trade only from 00:00-03:00 and 06:00-14:00, enable Window 1 and Window 2, then enter those times.

3. Pending Order Management

• Use Pending Distance Management - Keeps only pending orders close to the current price on the broker side.
• Pending Order Max Distance USD - Maximum allowed absolute distance from the current market price. Orders that are farther away are stored internally and only activated again when price moves closer.

4. Strategy Inputs

Angels Eye contains 8 strategies. Strategies 1 to 7 can be enabled independently on D1, H4 and H1. Strategy 8 is D1 only.

• Enable Strategy X - Master switch for the strategy.
• Enable Strategy X on D1 / H4 / H1 - Enables the strategy on the selected timeframe.
• Magic Number - Strategy X Timeframe - Unique identifier used by MetaTrader to track trades for that strategy/timeframe.

Important: Every strategy/timeframe should use a unique Magic Number. Magic numbers must be greater than zero. The value 666 is reserved and should not be used.

5. Money Management

• Lot Mode - Selects Fixed Lot or Auto Lot.
• Fixed Lot Size - The exact lot size used in Fixed Lot mode.
• Auto Lot Balance Per 0.01 - Defines how much account balance is required for each 0.01 lot in Auto Lot mode. Example: 1000 means 0.01 lot for each $1,000 balance.
• Auto Lot Only Up - Prevents the calculated Auto Lot from decreasing during the current EA run. Once a higher lot size is reached, it will not be reduced until the EA is restarted.

6. News Filter

• Enable News Filter - Enables the economic-calendar-based news filter.
• News Currencies - Currency list to monitor, for example USD or ALL.
• Block High / Medium / Low Impact News - Defines which news levels should block new entries.
• High / Medium / Low Minutes Before - Minutes before the news event where trading should be blocked.
• High / Medium / Low Minutes After - Minutes after the news event where trading should remain blocked.

The news filter is designed to protect the EA from entering shortly before or after important economic releases.

7. Trailing Stop Loss (TSL)

• Use Angels Eye Basket Trailing - Enables basket-based trailing stop management.
• TSL Activation Profit (Points) - Basket profit level required before trailing becomes active.
• TSL Distance from Best Profit (Points) - Maximum allowed pullback from the best basket profit before the basket is closed.
• Minimum Basket Profit to Close (Points) - Minimum profit that must still remain before the trailing logic closes the basket.
• Extra TSL Trigger Buffer (Points) - Additional small safety buffer used around the trigger level.

8. Overview Panel

The chart panel displays the most important live data:

• EA status
• Balance, Equity, Free Margin
• Risk Level
• Spread
• Current Time
• Trading status
• Profit today, profit this week and profit overall
• Current symbol, open trades, bid and ask
• Lot mode and current lot size
• Pending order count
• Strategy/timeframe activation overview

9. Recommended Setup

• Use XAUUSD / Gold on a fast broker with low slippage.
• Use a VPS for stable 24/7 execution.
• Start with a conservative risk configuration.
• Use Fixed Lot if you want full control over risk.
• Use Auto Lot if you want the EA to scale position size with balance.
• Use a Cent Account for balances below $1,000.

10. Notes

• Trading involves risk. Past performance and backtests do not guarantee future results.
• Before trading live, test the EA on a demo account and make sure all settings match your broker conditions.
• For best execution quality, avoid slow brokers and brokers with high slippage.
