Strategy Ledger — New Version Released
A new version of Strategy Ledger is now available on the MQL5 Marketplace.
This update includes several UI improvements and performance optimizations, along with an important change to how Equity Drawdown is calculated and presented.
For strategies with limited trading history, the Equity Drawdown KPI now uses a **Monte Carlo Shuffle** to provide an estimate based on the available results. By default, this applies during the first **30 days** and uses **600 simulations**, with both values configurable by the user.
The idea is simple: during the early life of a strategy, the observed drawdown may not yet be representative because there is not enough trading history. Monte Carlo simulation provides an additional indication of potential drawdown until the strategy has accumulated enough history for the KPI to transition to its actual observed Equity Drawdown.
