I want to introduce you to the Stock Trader Pro MT5 system, developed for trading in the US Stock Market. For each developer, the creation of such a system is a New Level, a new peak that has been achieved and a reason for pride. Unlike Forex, the Stock Market is intended for professional traders and investors. Here you can’t use “tester Grails”, scalpers and other systems that show hundreds of percent profit in the Tester, and losses on real accounts. At the same time, AMZN and GOOGL shares should be traded only on accounts over 10,000, since their value is high.

At the same time, the system shows stable results even during the crises of 2008 and 2020, which indicates its safety.

All Set-Files are available in the attachment and on the product page. I am often asked to provide set. I always publish them and do not hide from users!

Standard Mode Presets Pack:

This is a Speculative Mode - Classic trading. The system opens deals for the purchase of shares at the optimal price with a fixed value of SL and TP and accompanies the deals. In this mode, trading in shares of the following companies is available:

This mode of operation has a similar principle to the work of Hedge Funds and therefore received this name. Trading is carried out in shares of the following companies:

Hi, I cannot, because history data is available from May 2008. There are no sources, which provide history data for period before May 2008.

I’m happy to introduce Stock Trader Pro v3.0 — the largest and most important update of the system in the last 5 years.
This release represents a major step forward in terms of risk control, stability, and overall portfolio performance.

🔑 Key changes in version 3.0

1️⃣ S&P 500 Trend Filter

A macro S&P 500 market regime filter has been added to the system.
Its main purpose is to prevent trading during periods of market crashes and extreme turbulence, when price behavior becomes chaotic and risk is no longer predictable.

The filter proved especially effective during:

  • Market-wide sell-offs (e.g. COVID crash)

  • Periods of political and economic shocks
    (such as tariff wars and sudden policy decisions)

The philosophy is simple: capital protection comes first — sometimes the best trade is no trade at all.

2️⃣ New Bollinger Bands–Based Trailing Stop

The trade management logic has been significantly upgraded.
A new Trailing Stop mechanism based on Bollinger Bands has been implemented, allowing the system to:

  • Hold strong trending moves longer

  • Exit weakening impulses earlier

  • Reduce profit giveback during ranging conditions

This change dramatically improved trade exits and overall equity smoothness.

📈 Performance Improvements

As a result of these upgrades:

  • Average annual return increased to ~75%
    (compared to ~46% in the previous version)

  • Maximum historical drawdown was reduced

  • Stagnation periods became shorter

❓ How do I select the correct S&P 500 symbol?

Different brokers use different symbol names for the S&P 500.
To configure the filter correctly, you must manually select the symbol available from your broker.

Step-by-step:

  1. Open Market Watch ( Ctrl + M )

  2. Right-click inside Market Watch → Show All

  3. Find the S&P 500–related symbol provided by your broker
    (common examples: US500 , SP500 , SPX500 , US500Cash , etc.)

  4. Make sure the symbol is visible and enabled in Market Watch

  5. Enter the exact symbol name into the SP500 Symbol parameter in the EA settings

⚠️ The symbol name must match exactly, including capitalization.
