Overview

SuperTrend is a custom technical indicator for MetaTrader 5 designed to help traders visualize market trends and identify potential bullish and bearish reversals directly on the price chart.

Using Average True Range (ATR) calculations and a configurable multiplier, the indicator plots dynamic trend lines that adapt to market volatility. Green lines represent bullish trends, while red lines represent bearish trends.

When the indicator detects a change in trend direction on a completed historical candle, it can display a corresponding Buy or Sell signal on the chart.

With customizable ATR settings, selectable signal shapes, adjustable signal sizes, and an option to show or hide trading signals, SuperTrend provides a flexible charting tool for traders who prefer a clean visual representation of market direction.

Important Information

SuperTrend is a technical analysis indicator, not an automated trading system. It does not open, manage, or close trades.

  5. Stars — Star-shaped markers.

These options allow users to personalize the chart's appearance without changing the indicator's trend calculation rules.
