Zigma Gold Fusion — Multiple Strategies for Gold Trading

Zigma Gold Fusion is an Expert Advisor for Gold trading on MetaTrader 5. It combines multiple strategy modules with Buy and Sell entries, grid-based basket management, and three lot-sizing modes.

Auto Balance uses actual lots on your account. Set the balance amount, the lot to use at that balance, and the maximum lot per order.

How the EA Works

Each strategy evaluates its own entry conditions and trading schedule before opening a basket. Buy and Sell activity can be uneven; the EA does not aim to open equal numbers of trades in both directions.

After an initial entry, a strategy may add positions when price moves against its basket by the configured distance. Positions are managed according to that strategy’s basket exit rules.

This is a grid-based approach. Additional entries increase exposure, and baskets may remain open during sustained price movements.

Choose Your Lot Mode

  • Broker Minimum: uses the broker’s minimum permitted volume, subject to the lot cap and trading checks. It does not scale volume with balance. Minimum lot does not mean minimum risk.

  • Fixed Lot: uses your selected actual lot size.

  • Auto Balance: calculates the starting basket lot from account balance and your chosen balance-to-lot ratio.

The default lot mode is Broker Minimum. Select Auto Balance explicitly if you want balance-based sizing.

Auto Balance Settings

Setting Purpose
Balance amount (USD) The balance amount used for your sizing ratio
Lot at this balance The actual lot to use at that balance
Maximum lot per order The maximum actual volume of an individual order, across all lot modes

The calculation is:

Starting lot = Account balance ÷ Balance amount × Lot at this balance

For example, with USD 1,000 per 0.01 lot and a maximum of 0.05 lot per order:

Account balance Starting basket lot
USD 1,000 0.01
USD 2,000 0.02
USD 5,000 0.05
USD 10,000 0.05 — capped

This example assumes a broker minimum and volume step of 0.01 lot. Calculated volume is rounded down to the permitted step. If it remains below the minimum, the EA skips the new basket instead of rounding up.

Auto Balance retains the selected starting lot within each basket. Balance changes affect new baskets. Lowering the order cap below an existing basket’s starting lot blocks further additions at that volume.

Micro and Standard Accounts

All lot inputs are actual lots on the account where the EA is running. There is no automatic contract-size conversion.

For example, 0.01 lot on a Gold symbol with contract size 100 represents the same Gold quantity as 1.00 lot on a symbol with contract size 1. Broker execution, leverage and volume rounding can still produce different results.

Do not copy identical lot inputs between different account specifications. Check contract size, minimum volume and volume step. Micro, cent and standard account labels alone do not establish equivalent exposure.

Auto Balance currently requires a USD account and a symbol with USD profit currency. Cent/USC and other account currencies are not supported by this mode.

Example Auto Balance Settings

The following examples apply to a Micro Gold symbol with contract size 1.

Setting Normal Medium High
Balance amount (USD) 500 200 125
Lot at this balance 0.10 0.10 0.10
Maximum lot per order 0.50 5.00 5.00
Starting lot at USD 500 balance 0.10 0.25 0.40

These are example sizing labels, not preset dropdown options or guaranteed risk levels. Reducing the balance amount while keeping the same lot increases exposure.

Do not apply these Micro lot inputs directly to a Standard symbol with a different contract size.

On-Chart Dashboard and Controls

The dashboard shows the next basket lot, open positions, Open P/L, Session P/L and news-related status.

  • Pause New Baskets: stops new baskets. Existing baskets continue their management rules and may still add positions.

  • Close All & Pause: requires confirmation, requests closure of positions belonging to this EA’s Magic Number range and symbol, then keeps trading paused.

  • Details: shows sizing information, broker volume requirements, entry status and news information.

If trading is unavailable, a pending close waits until execution becomes available. Closing is not guaranteed at the price displayed when the button is pressed.

Open P/L includes floating profit/loss and swap. Session P/L includes realized profit/loss, swap, commission and fees posted since the EA’s current initialization. It resets after a restart, input change or chart-timeframe change.

FOMC Filter

The FOMC filter restricts new basket entries on identified FOMC dates. During normal chart operation, it uses the MT5 economic calendar; the Strategy Tester uses embedded historical dates.

The filter does not automatically close existing exposure. Existing baskets may still add positions and follow their exit rules. It is not a filter for every economic announcement.

Historical Backtest — Medium Example

The following historical simulation was verified using the current release code and the Medium Micro settings shown above.

Metric Result
Initial deposit USD 500
Net profit USD 2,329.56
Profit Factor 5.18
Maximum relative equity drawdown 18.30%
Win rate 81.37%
Total trades 1,755

Test conditions: 18 September 2023 to 31 August 2026; XM GOLDm# Micro; contract size 1; hedging account; leverage 1:1000; M15; every tick based on real ticks; 10 ms execution delay.

Auto Balance settings: USD 200 balance amount, 0.10 actual lot at that balance, and a maximum of 5.00 actual lots per order. Floating loss protection and emergency broker-side Stop Loss were disabled.

These are backtest results, not live-account performance. They do not establish expected returns or a maximum future drawdown.

Requirements and Operation

Use MetaTrader 5 with a hedging account and check your broker’s Gold symbol specifications.

The strategy logic uses internal timeframes. Attaching the EA to an M15 chart is not a requirement; M15 is the chart setting used in the backtest above.

Keep MT5 running, connected and permitted to trade for EA-managed entries and exits. A VPS can support continuous operation.

Use one instance per intended symbol and Magic Number range. Avoid duplicate instances managing the same positions.

Pricing Plan

The launch price is USD 149.

A USD 50 increase is planned after each additional 10 completed full-license purchases, up to a maximum price of USD 999. Demo downloads and rentals do not count toward these milestones.

Each increase will be announced at least seven days before taking effect. Multiple milestones reached during that period may be combined into the next announced price.

Forward-monitoring milestones do not automatically trigger price increases. Future price changes apply to new purchases; existing buyers retain their purchased licenses under the MQL5 Market terms.

Risk Information

Grid baskets can accumulate substantial floating losses. A high win rate does not eliminate this risk.

Maximum lot per order limits individual order volume. It does not cap total exposure, basket losses or account drawdown.

Optional floating loss protection and emergency broker-side Stop Loss are disabled when set to zero. Review these settings before trading. No maximum drawdown or future return is guaranteed.

Getting Started

Download the Market demo and evaluate the EA in the MT5 Strategy Tester using your broker’s Gold specification. The Market demo is for Strategy Tester evaluation; it cannot run on a live or demo-account chart.

Before using the purchased version with real funds, test the intended settings on a demo account. Confirm the lot mode, actual lot values, cap and operating status.

The EA waits for qualifying conditions and may not open a trade immediately. Check Details and the Experts log if entries are unavailable.

For setup questions and support, use the product comments or MQL5 private messages.
