AstroFox Expert Advisor
AstroFox is a trend-following Expert Advisor developed for MetaTrader 5, with a primary focus on XAUUSD (Gold).
The strategy is built around a structured trend → pullback → confirmation → entry approach. Instead of continuously entering the market, AstroFox waits for price to return toward the active trend area and looks for confirmation before opening a position.
The system combines EMA 20, EMA 50 and SMA 200 to evaluate market direction and trend structure. Entries are then filtered using pullback conditions, price action confirmation and market structure.

How AstroFox Trades
AstroFox first identifies the dominant market direction.
For a BUY setup, price should be positioned in a bullish market structure with the faster moving averages supporting the trend. The EA then waits for a pullback toward the EMA area rather than chasing an extended move.
A trade is considered only after the pullback produces suitable price-action confirmation.
SELL positions use the opposite conditions.
Stop Loss placement is based on recent market structure with an ATR-adjusted buffer rather than using an arbitrary fixed distance.
Trade Management
AstroFox does more than simply open a trade and wait for SL or TP.
The EA includes several automatic management mechanisms designed to protect an active position as the market develops.
At the configured profit level, AstroFox can partially close the position and protect the remaining volume at Break Even. The remaining position can then continue toward the main target while EMA-based management follows the developing trend.
If the conditions that originally justified the trade deteriorate before the position develops correctly, the Failed Setup Exit mechanism can close the trade early.

Risk Management
Two position-sizing modes are available:
Fixed Lot – trades use a predefined lot size.
Risk Percent – AstroFox automatically calculates the position size according to the selected percentage of account balance or equity and the actual Stop Loss distance.
Risk settings should always be selected according to the trader's account size and personal risk tolerance.
