Gann-inspired reversal pattern detector for MT5 featuring KRU/KRD, double key reversals and three-bar reversal structures.
Gann Reversal Patterns MT5 is a technical analysis indicator designed to identify several price-action reversal structures commonly used in Gann-oriented market analysis.
The indicator automatically detects bullish and bearish reversal formations on closed candles only, helping traders analyze potential turning points without relying on the currently forming bar.
Detected patterns
KRU – Key Reversal Up
Identifies a bullish key reversal candle characterized by a dominant lower wick and configurable candle structure requirements.
KRD – Key Reversal Down
Identifies the corresponding bearish key reversal structure with a dominant upper wick.
DKRU – Double Key Reversal Up
A two-bar bullish reversal structure where price makes a lower low and subsequently closes above the previous candle's high.
DKRD – Double Key Reversal Down
A two-bar bearish reversal structure where price makes a higher high and subsequently closes below the previous candle's low.
Three-Bar Bullish Reversal
Detects a three-candle bullish reversal sequence based on the relationship between the highs, lows and closes of the three completed candles.
Three-Bar Bearish Reversal
Detects the corresponding bearish three-candle reversal sequence.

Entry levels
The indicator can optionally display reference entry levels associated with detected reversal structures.
For KRU/KRD patterns, the 50% candle level can also be displayed separately.
These levels are analytical references and do not represent automatic trade recommendations.
Non-repainting approach
Pattern detection is performed using completed candles. The current forming candle (bar 0) is not used to generate confirmed pattern signals.
This makes historical pattern analysis consistent with the information that would have been available after each candle closed.
Suggested use
Reversal patterns should not normally be interpreted in isolation. They can be evaluated together with market structure, support/resistance, price/time relationships, trend context or other analytical methods.
The indicator does not automatically open or manage trades.
