What this EA does.
AST Pendulum trades mean-reversion: it measures how far price has stretched from its moving average (z-score in standard deviations) and positions against the stretch, aiming for a return to the mean. The basket is closed once price has reverted or a money target is reached.
Deliberately built with BOUNDED risk (default configuration):
- Fixed lot size when scaling in (no progression)
- Capped number of additional positions
- HARD basket stop as a percent of balance -> maximum loss is bounded
Backtest of the SAFE default configuration (AUDCAD H1, 2016-2026, real ticks):
- Profit factor: 1.57
- Sharpe ratio: 1.97
- Maximum drawdown: 1.24% (0.01 Lot fix)

OPTIONAL MARTINGALE FEATURE (HIGH RISK, OFF BY DEFAULT)

For experienced users, a lot progression (1-2-3-4-5-6) with more legs can be enabled. It increases return - but through leverage, not a better edge, and with much higher risk. Honest comparison (same pair/period):

- Broker with tight spread (ECN/RAW recommended)
- VPS recommended (positions held over hours/days)
- One chart only. Starting capital from approx. 1,000 EUR.

Ships in the SAFE default. Two presets are included:
- "Safe" (recommended): bounded risk, hard stop.
- "Aggressive (Martingale)": high risk, opt-in.
Lot size scales with balance (InpLotFrac) or fixed (InpFixedLot).
