Before I commit to a single trade, I run price through four layers of confirmation: trend direction, volatility-adjusted spacing, adaptive momentum, and a shock filter that pauses me after abnormal candles. A note on how this works

Like most gold grid systems, I average into positions in the direction of the detected trend while the market moves against the current basket, before the group target is reached. This is the same mechanism used across the grid category — it produces long streaks of small, consistent gains, but carries real drawdown exposure if gold trends strongly against the detected direction for an extended period.
