DTC Algo Indikator

A complete, self-contained signal and analysis tool for discretionary and rule-based traders. DTC Algo Ribbon combines a multi-layer trend engine with a full on-chart performance dashboard, clean trade-zone mapping, and a non-repainting arrow system — all in a single indicator. It does not trade for you; it tells you where and when a high-conviction setup appears and shows you exactly how that same logic has performed on your chart's history.
What it does
The indicator scans every closed bar for setups that satisfy a stacked set of trend, momentum and market-regime conditions. When all conditions align, it prints a Buy or Sell arrow and maps the full trade plan — entry, protective stop and staged targets — directly onto the chart. A built-in simulation then evaluates how each historical signal would have played out and reports the result in a live dashboard.
Everything you need to evaluate, follow and trust the signals is on one screen.
Key features
- Multi-layer trend engine — signals are only generated when several independent confirmation layers agree, filtering out the low-quality setups that single-indicator tools miss.
- Higher-timeframe trend alignment — entries are checked against the dominant trend on a higher timeframe so you trade with the larger move, not against it.
- Adaptive market-regime filter — the indicator automatically tightens or relaxes its sensitivity depending on whether the market is ranging, trending or expanding, so it behaves appropriately in different conditions.
- Trend-strength and volatility gating — weak, choppy phases are screened out before a signal is ever shown.
- Session / trading-hours filter — restrict signals to the Tokyo, London and/or New York windows, each fully configurable to the minute. A live status field shows the active session at a glance.
- Non-repainting — signals are evaluated on closed bars only. An arrow that has printed will not move, disappear or change after the fact.
Built-in backtest dashboard
Most signal indicators leave you guessing about quality. This one answers the question directly. The on-chart dashboard runs the exact same logic over your chart history and reports:
- Total signals, Buy/Sell split
- Win-rate and loss-rate (with absolute counts)
- Profit factor
- Total result and average per signal, in pips
- Maximum drawdown (largest pullback from the running high), in pips
- Hit-rate bars for each profit target
A cumulative equity curve is drawn right in the panel, with drawdown phases highlighted, so you can judge consistency and risk visually in seconds. The statistics reflect pure signal quality (excluding spread and slippage), which makes them ideal for comparing settings, symbols and timeframes objectively.
Clear visual trade mapping
Every detected setup is drawn as a clean set of stacked zones:
- A stop zone and a separate zone for each profit target, shaded so reached and un-reached targets are instantly distinguishable.
- The most recent setup is fully labelled with its pip distances (entry, stop and each target), so you always know the exact plan for the current opportunity.
The staged-target structure with a trailing protective stop and break-even handling is reflected in both the chart zones and the statistics — what you see is what was measured.
Flexible risk configuration
Choose how stops and targets are defined:
- Volatility-adaptive mode — stops and targets scale automatically with current market volatility.
- Fixed-pip mode — set the stop and up to four targets as fixed pip distances from entry, with a selectable number of partial targets.
This lets you match the tool to your own risk model and to the behaviour of each instrument.
Recommended use
- Instruments: optimised for XAUUSD (Gold) and major indices (e.g. DE40), but works on any liquid symbol.
- Timeframes: designed around M5 and M15.
- Style: suitable for intraday and swing traders who want a confirmed, rule-based entry signal plus a transparent performance read-out.
Note: this is an indicator, not an Expert Advisor — it generates signals, alerts and on-chart analysis but does not open or manage live orders. It is well suited to discretionary execution and to validating the logic before automating it.
Why traders choose it
- One tool, one screen: signals, full trade plan, and an honest, data-driven performance summary.
- No black-box arrows you have to take on faith — the dashboard lets the chart's own history speak.
- Highly configurable filters and risk modes, with sensible defaults out of the box.
