You paid $500 for a funded account challenge. You left your desk for 20 minutes.
Your stop loss hit and you had no idea until you opened MT5 three hours later.
That trade cost you the challenge.
That is what Trade Alert Pro fixes.
The moment any trade opens or closes on your account, your phone knows.
Take profit, stop loss, drawdown, daily performance, all of it lands on your lock screen in plain language before you even think to check.
You are never the last person to know what happened on your own account.
Every prop firm trader checks their phone constantly.
Not because they want to.
Because they have no other choice.
Trade Alert Pro gives you that choice back.
Attach it once to any chart.
Within 10 seconds a notification confirms it is running.
Then put your phone down and trade.
Every trade on your account, straight to your phone in seconds.
Works with FTMO, The5ers, FundedNext, E8 Markets and 21 more prop firms.
Your firm name and account size appear in every message automatically, no configuration needed.
Two accounts at FTMO? One shows as FTMO 25k, the other as FTMO 100k. Instant context, every time.
Every message is written to fit inside the iPhone and Android notification banner.
You read the full result, profit, symbol, direction, firm, before you tap.

Setup
This takes about 10 minutes. Follow every step in order. Missing one step is the most common reason notifications do not arrive.
Step 1.
Install the EA from the marketplace
Step 2.
Attach the EA to the chart
- Open MetaTrader 5.
- Drag the EA onto unused chart. Timeframe and symbol do not matter. (EURUSD on 15M for example)
- In the settings window that opens, go to the Common tab.
- Tick Allow Algo Trading. Click OK.
- In the inputs tab, choose your settings
Step 3.
Install the MT5 app on your phone
- Download MetaTrader 5 from the App Store or Google Play.
- Log in with your MQL5 account on the messages tab
- Add your trading accounts
- Your phone and your desktop terminal must use the same trading account.
Step 4.
Enable push notifications in MT5
This is the most important step. Without it nothing reaches your phone.
- In MetaTrader 5 on your computer:
- Go to Tools, then Options, then the Notifications tab.
- Tick Enable Push Notifications.
- In the MetaQuotes ID field, paste the ID from your MT5 mobile app.
On your phone:
- To find your MetaQuotes ID: open the MT5 app on your phone, go to the Chat and Messages tab, your ID is shown at the bottom.
- On Android: To find your Metaquotes ID, click on Messages, Login to your MQL5 account if not already. Click on MQID at the top, and your Metaquotes ID will show.
- Send a Test message by clicking on Test to ensure everything is in working order'
- Go to Notifications in the MT5 app and enable sounds if you want them.
- Click OK.
Step 5. (optional)
Turn off MQL5 login alerts
MT5 sends a push notification every time it detects a login from a new IP address.
These are not your trade alerts. They will mix in with your notifications and cause confusion.
To turn them off:
Go to mql5.com in a browser and log in.
Click your profile name, then go to Settings and click on Security in the top.
Find Notify about IP address changes via MetaQuotes ID and turn it off.
Then go to Notifications in the top and choose your settings.
Step 6. (optional)
Turn off broker news messages
Your broker may push news articles and market updates to the MT5 Messages tab.
These arrive as push notifications alongside your trade alerts.
To stop them:
Log into your broker's client portal.
Find notification or subscription settings.
Disable market news and promotional messages.
The exact location differs per broker. Contact your broker's support if you cannot find it.
Step 7. (optional)
Turn off MT5 system sounds on your desktop
If you do not want sound alerts from the MT5 terminal itself alongside your push notifications:
Go to Tools, then Options, then the Events tab.
Untick Enable sound events.
This does not affect push notifications to your phone.
Step 8. (optional)
Turn on MT5 phone sounds (optional)
Go to the Metatrader app
Go to settings in the bottom right corner
Navigate to settings
Tick sounds
Step 9. Confirm everything is working
Within 10 seconds of attaching the EA, a welcome notification arrives on your phone.
If nothing arrives:
Check that Enable Push Notifications is ticked in MT5 under Tools, Options, Notifications.
Check that your MetaQuotes ID is entered correctly in the same screen.
Check that your phone has the MT5 app open at least once since login.
Settings explained
Trade Notifications Switch each alert type on or off individually.
Available alerts: new trade open, take profit hit, stop loss hit, manual close and breakeven reached.
Turning an alert off means no notification fires for that event but your daily summary still counts those trades correctly.
Message Content
Master switch for all content.
When it is on, individual toggles control which details appear in each message: Long/Short direction, entry price, close price and profit or loss amount.
Turn the master switch off and all content is removed, only the event name and symbol appear.
Drawdown Alert
Fires when your equity drops a set percentage from the day's opening equity.
Set the percentage threshold and a cooldown in minutes to avoid repeated alerts during a sustained drawdown.
The alert only fires once per cooldown window even if equity keeps falling.
Daily Summary
On or off.
Set the hour it sends each evening in your local time.
The summary resets at midnight each day.
On weekdays it always sends at your chosen hour.
On Saturdays and Sundays it only sends if you traded that day.
Filters
Magic number: enter the magic number of a specific EA to only receive alerts for its trades.
Leave at zero for all trades. Symbol whitelist: comma-separated list of symbols to receive alerts for only those.
Example: EURUSD,XAUUSD.
Leave empty for all symbols.
Symbol blacklist: symbols you never want alerts for.
Example: GBPUSD,USDJPY.
Leave empty to exclude nothing.
Cooldown per symbol: minimum seconds between alerts on the same instrument.
Hourly cap: maximum total notifications per hour. Set to zero for no limit.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does it place, modify or close any trades?
No. Trade Alert Pro only reads your account data and sends notifications.
It never sends any trade instructions to your broker.
You can attach it to a live funded account with complete confidence that it cannot interfere with your positions.
Which phones does it work on?
Any iPhone running iOS 14 or later and any Android phone running Android 8 or later, with the MetaTrader 5 app installed.
The app is free on both the App Store and Google Play.
Does it work on MT4? No.
Trade Alert Pro is built exclusively for MetaTrader 5.
Can I use it on multiple accounts at the same time?
Yes. Attach one instance of the EA per account on each terminal.
Each instance detects its own firm and account size automatically.
I have set 10 activations instead of the standard 5 to make multi-account setups easier.
My prop firm is not in the list. What happens?
The EA reads your account name and shortens it automatically.
If your account name is HS2-100k for example, it displays HS2.
Send me a message with your firm name and server name and I will add it in the next update.
How does the account size detection work?
The EA reads your current account balance and rounds it to the nearest standard prop firm tier, 5k, 10k, 25k, 50k, 100k, 200k and so on.
If your balance is within 20% of a standard tier, that size appears alongside your firm name in every message.
If it does not match any standard tier, the size label is omitted.
What does the daily summary show?
On a profitable day it shows your total profit, number of trades, win-loss split and win rate. On a losing day it shows the same information with your total loss.
On a day with no trades it sends a brief no-trades message on weekdays. On Saturdays and Sundays with no trades, nothing is sent.
Why did I receive the summary at the wrong time?
The summary fires at the hour you set in the inputs, based on your local machine time.
If your computer clock is wrong or you are running on a VPS in a different timezone, adjust the SummaryHour input to match your local time.
What is the breakeven alert?
When a trade returns to the exact entry price, the point where closing it results in zero profit or loss, a notification fires.
This fires once per position with a 10-minute cooldown per symbol.
If price immediately bounces to entry after opening, the cooldown prevents a second alert within that window.
What is the 3 losses alert?
After exactly three consecutive losses, one notification fires reminding you to consider taking a break.
It fires once at exactly three losses and never again during the same streak even if more losses follow.
It resets when a winning trade closes.
What is the drawdown alert?
When your account equity drops a set percentage below the day's opening equity, a notification fires.
The percentage threshold and the cooldown between repeated alerts are both configurable.
This helps you stay aware of intraday drawdown before it approaches your prop firm's daily limit.
I attached the EA but no notification arrived. What do I check?
Work through these in order.
First: go to Tools, Options, Notifications in MetaTrader 5 on your computer.
Is Enable Push Notifications ticked? If not, tick it and click OK.
Second: is your MetaQuotes ID entered in that same screen?
If the field is empty or contains the wrong ID, notifications cannot reach your phone.
Find your ID at the bottom of the Chat and Messages tab in the MT5 mobile app.
Third: is the MT5 app installed on your phone and logged into the same trading account as your desktop terminal?
Notifications will not arrive if the accounts do not match.
Fourth: have you turned off MQL5 IP address alerts as described in Step 5?
That alert sometimes arrives at the same moment as the welcome message and causes confusion.
Fifth: check the Experts tab at the bottom of MetaTrader 5.
After attaching the EA you should see a line confirming Trade Alert Pro initialised and showing your detected firm name and equity baseline.
If this line does not appear, check that Allow Algo Trading is ticked in the Common tab of the EA settings.
The EA shows my firm as HS2 instead of The5ers.
Open the Experts tab in MT5 after attaching the EA and look for the line that says Raw server name.
Copy exactly what it shows and send it to me as a message.
I will add the correct detection pattern in the next update, usually within 48 hours.
Does it work alongside my own EA or a third-party EA?
Yes. Trade Alert Pro runs independently on any chart and monitors all account activity.
Use the magic number filter to receive alerts only for trades opened by a specific EA.
Does it work during backtesting?
No. Push notifications are only available in live and demo trading.
The EA does not send notifications during Strategy Tester runs.
Can I run it on a VPS?
Yes.
It is designed to run continuously on a VPS.
Notifications arrive on your phone regardless of whether your local computer is on or off.
Will it keep working after a restart?
Yes.
When the EA reattaches after a terminal or VPS restart it automatically scans the day's closed trade history and rebuilds its daily totals so the evening summary remains accurate.
A new welcome notification arrives on your phone confirming it is active again.
Are updates included with purchase?
Yes.
All future updates are included at no extra cost.
When prop firms change their server names or new firms are added, you receive the update automatically through the MQL5 marketplace.
How many activations do I get?
10 activations.
The standard MQL5 default is 5 but I have doubled this to make multi-account setups easier.
If you ever run out, contact me.
Is there a trial version?
A demo version is available for testing on a demo account before purchasing.
Can I change the notification language?
The messages are in English only.
A translated version is not available at this time.
If there is enough demand for a specific language I will consider it in a future update.
What happens if I switch prop firms?
The firm detection reads your MT5 server name automatically every time it runs.
If you switch to a supported firm the name updates instantly with no changes needed.
If you switch to a firm not in the list, your account name is shortened automatically or you can send me a message to have it added.
Does the EA store or transmit any of my account data?
No.
The EA reads your account data locally within MT5 and sends it only to your phone via the MetaQuotes push notification system.
No data is sent to any third-party server, stored externally or shared with anyone.
