Why is Range Breakout EA so Stable?

Range Breakout EA is based on a well-known market behaviour: the change in volatility between major trading sessions.

Volatility is typically lower during the Asian session, resulting in a relatively narrow price range. When the London session opens, trading activity increases, often leading to a breakout from this range. If momentum continues, the price may develop into a sustained intraday move.

The EA is designed to identify these breakout opportunities and manage positions throughout the trading session before volatility typically decreases later in the day.

Instead of relying on traditional technical indicators, the strategy is based primarily on price action and session behaviour. It also includes an internal breakout filter designed to reduce the number of lower-quality breakout trades.
