STRATEGY OVERVIEW



The Grid EA Forex Collector is a professional Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5 that combines a proven grid trading strategy with the technical analysis of Bollinger Bands. The strategy takes advantage of the fact that markets do not move linearly, but in waves. Thru intelligent position opening at extremes and systematic buying on pullbacks, a profit is achieved as soon as the market returns to the middle or continues the trend.



THE CORE STRATEGY



The EA waits patiently until the price touches a Bollinger Band: • UPPER BAND touched → SELL signal (Normal mode) Logic: Price is "overbought," likely return to the middle • LOWER BAND touched → BUY signal (Normal mode) Logic: Price is "oversold," likely return to the middle OR (in reverse mode for breakout trading): • UPPER BAND touched → BUY signal (Reverse mode) Logic: Strong upward trend, continuation likely • LOWER BAND touched → SELL signal (Reverse mode) Logic: Strong downward trend, continuation likely Step 2: GRID BUILD-UP (Systematic Averaging Down)

As soon as the first position is opened, the EA builds a grid: For BUY positions: • Price drops 20 pips → Level 1 is opened (additional buy) • Price drops another 20 pips → Level 2 is opened • Price drops another 20 pips → Level 3 is opened • ... until MaxGridLevels is reached For SELL positions: • Price rises 20 pips → Level 1 is opened (additional sale) • Price rises another 20 pips → Level 2 is opened • ... until MaxGridLevels is reached WHY? The further the price moves against us, the better our average entry price will be. When the market then comes back, all positions together will be in profit faster. Step 3: PROFIT TAKING (Global Take Profit)



The EA monitors the TOTAL profit of all positions: • All BUY positions: +15€ • All SELL positions: +35€ • TOTAL: +50€ → If TOTAL profit ≥ Take Profit (e.g., 50€) → ALL positions are closed → Profit is realized This works across ALL currency pairs simultaneously! Step 4: RISK MANAGEMENT (Break-Even & Trailing Stop)



Each individual position is protected individually: BREAK-EVEN: • Position +20 pips in profit → Stop loss moved to entry price +2 pips → At least +2 pips profit secured → No loss possible anymore TRAILING STOP: • Position +30 pips in profit → Stop loss follows the price at a distance of 30 pips → Maximizes profits during strong movements → Protects against sudden reversals

Grid trading utilizes the laws of probability: • Markets do not move linearly • Corrections follow strong movements • Average entry price improves • The more grid levels, the faster the break-even Example: Single position: Needs +20 pips for €20 profit 5 grid positions: Only need +4 pips for a €20 profit → 5x faster profitable!

2. BOLLINGER BANDS FILTER ─ Not every price is a good entry: • Bollinger Bands show statistical extremes • 95% of prices remain within the bands • Touching the band = high probability of reversal • Fewer trades, but better quality

3. RISK CONTROL ─ Multiple levels of security: • Stop loss per position (optional) • Break-even secures profits early • Trailing stop maximizes profits • Max grid levels limit exposure • Global take profit prevents greed
