Dear Alfiya Fazylova
I have just bought your EA and there are some strange things in her performance:
1- TL is 500 but what I get is 825
2- SL is 4000 and what I get is 2366
3- Also when I tick ‘Close on loss’ and chose 600 AUD or whatever EA keeps closing any positions opened right away like murdering the position! are you sure this option works properly?

Hello,
1, 2) Stop loss and take profit are measured in points.
Stop loss is delayed from the last level of the order grid, provided that you do not have the Breakeven function and Trailing stop enabled. Take profit is delayed from the breakeven price of the order grid, the distance depends on what mode you have set for take profit.
3) set the number with a minus sign.
I recommend reading the instructions - https://www.mql5.com/en/blogs/post/740175

Thank you for the very fast and very well-explained reply.
Update 2.80
Added an option for automatic lot calculation for master orders.
These are very useful additions. Thank you!
But, for whatever reason, this new version isn't functional in Strategy Tester anymore. The buttons don't open positions. In previous version, Buy and Sell buttons worked fine.
And lot multiplier in Geometric is broken it only works with round number and not work with decimal value (such as 1.5) like old version.
I can't use this after update please fix.

EDIT: multiplier is broken for values between 1.1 > 1.4 when using first order size 0.01 lot.

Hello,
In the strategy tester, functions associated with clicking the mouse on the chart or on the keyboard do not work.
This means that in the strategy tester the application cannot see clicks on the chart.
In the strategy tester, I can make clickable buttons using the "Button" graphic object, and this is the only thing that can be done. There is no way to create a drop-down list, input field, etc. in the strategy tester.
I don’t see any point in implementing a panel for a strategy tester in a version where half of its functionality does not work. In addition, these functions that were written for the strategy tester (which ensured the operation of the buttons) do not allow for the further development of this product.
Yes, and I don’t understand how you used this product in the strategy tester. It’s not possible to use the panel there, how did you enter values in the input field?
If it is so critical to use the panel in the strategy tester, then I think it is possible to make a lightweight version of the product. Which will be available to users who purchased this product. Which will have, for example, only two buttons, Buy and Sell, and all other settings will be entered only through input parameters. If you have other ideas, write, I will consider them.

Ok, I'll check this and fix it. Thanks for pointing out the error.
Thanks for the update. Some of the information is useful for me, while some I don't think I will use.
The auto lot size feature is great for account growth, as it automatically increases the lot size over time. The "lotstart" option might be useful; now I can start with one large order if I want, and after that, it follows the normal lot increment. However, this could negatively impact the break-even line if I start with a big order and then place smaller ones.
I use the Grid Manual a lot and am very happy with it, as I mentioned before. I'm using it on a prop firm account, and so far, all is good. I mostly trade gold, but gold has been crazy lately, requiring lots of adjustments. My grid is set to 14 orders with a grid step of 320. The problem is that when I am about 5 orders deep, I manually adjust the grid step to 400 and later to 480. It would be nice if this could be done at the start.
Maybe we could divide the grid into three parts: Part 1 at 320, Part 2 at 400, and Part 3 at 480, for example. Or perhaps have the first 4-5 orders at 320 and then use a growth coefficient option, so the grid step widens after every new order, similar to how the lot size coefficient works but without the ATR option.
A high-impact news filter would be really nice to have. The prop firm I use has a restriction when there is high-impact news on ForexFactory. Two minutes before the news and until two minutes after, I am not allowed to place new orders or have pending orders activated. However, I am allowed to close already running orders manually or by using a TP.
What I do now is set pending orders to false. When I am in a trade during news events, I have to log in to my computer and turn off the Algo Trading button before the news comes in and turn it back on after the news. This can cause problems if the market moves a lot, passing some grid levels. Then, I have to adjust the levels before I can turn Algo Trading back on.
A news filter would be nice but might be difficult to implement. Additionally, if the market moves significantly, the grid should be adjusted as needed. I think these options would be appreciated by others as well, especially since more and more people are using prop firms and dealing with their restrictions.
Maybe this also doable with an option for only 1 order per candle or per time as i requested before in a other post.
So when there is high impact news no new orders and only after the news continue but if needed move the remaining grid to where the market price is then so that in will continue with the next order in line.

Hello, ok, I'll write this down and think about your suggestion.

Hello, I bought Grid Manual over a year ago and for all this time I was able to use the panel in Strategy Tester. I was entering the parameters (Grid Step, Lots Size, TP, SL, Trailing, and so on) in the Strategy Tester/Inputs and then ran it in Visual Mode. I was able to place orders with Buy and Sell buttons and never encountered any problem. I was even able to place Stop and Limit orders, however without the ability to move the line to the desired place. I was not able to change parameters via the panel - it would always reset the parameters to what was entered in Inputs tab before running the test.
Please check this out for yourself using the previous version. It used to work in Strategy tester just fine. And it still works on my second computer where I haven't updated Grid Manual to the last version yet.

Hello, you are writing exactly the same thing as I wrote: you cannot enter values through the panel in the strategy tester, you cannot move the lines of pending orders in the panel. The only thing you could do was click the Buy and Sell buttons.
The pending order buttons also worked, but there is no point in them, since in the strategy tester you cannot move the line with the mouse.
The functions for managing the order grid and the functions for closing orders based on profit will also not work as you will not be able to enter the required value in the input field.
To make these buttons clickable, the utility contains separate functions that check the state of the Button graphic objects. These functions have existed since the very first version of the utility, when there were no input fields yet, and it made sense. Now that the interface has been expanded, these are absolutely useless functionalities; they only slow down the code. So I deleted them.
If two Buy and Sell buttons are enough for you in the strategy tester, then I can return the processing of these two buttons.

Yes, if you can restore this functionality, that would be great! In the previous version, it was also possible to close All Buy and All Sell with buttons, they were functional too. All grid and other parameters can be set in Strategy Tester/Input, and the Grid Manual was managing the grid and TP/SL/Trailing according to these parameters. The ability to use Grid Manual in Strategy Tester is certainly of a great value to me. Thank you!

Ok, I'll do it. I think this will take a couple of days.

Yes Tester function is important because we can check how grid behave on different brokers price feed with real ticks.

Thank you, it works fine now!
