GOLD TRINITY — Three-Engine Gold Breakout Expert Advisor
GOLD TRINITY is an automated breakout Expert Advisor designed for gold trading on the M5 timeframe. It combines three active trading engines with different profit objectives, using completed-candle price ranges and Average True Range (ATR) to define entries, stop losses, and take profits.
The EA places pending buy-stop and sell-stop orders around established price ranges, allowing price movement to trigger entries.
Three complementary engines
- Expansion Runner: Targets extended breakout moves with a default profit target of 2.70 times the uncapped ATR stop distance.
- Ultra-Low-RR Breakout: Uses a smaller profit target of 0.13 times that distance.
- Moderate-Low-RR Breakout: Uses an intermediate profit target of 1.10 times that distance.
Each engine has independently configurable lookback periods, ATR settings, order expiration, stop-distance limits, and optional trailing stops. Four additional engines are available but disabled by default.
Trading and protection features
- Fixed-lot position sizing, adjustable through the inputs.
- Configurable buy and sell permissions.
- Maximum spread filter for new entries.
- ATR-based stop losses and take profits.
- Per-engine maximum stop distances and emergency adverse-price guards.
- Daily and account drawdown filters that suspend new entries and cancel pending orders.
- Broker checks for volume, margin, stop distances, filling policies, and order permissions.
Drawdown calculations use balance by default, with an equity-based option. Drawdown reference values reset when the EA initializes. These filters do not automatically close all open positions.
Integrated dashboard
A charcoal-and-gold dashboard displays account balance, equity, EA floating profit or loss, spread, drawdown information, and engine statistics. The panel supports repositioning, minimizing, and a clearly labelled Close all & exit control.
Account compatibility
On hedging accounts, engines can maintain separate positions. On netting accounts, GOLD TRINITY uses one pending order or position at a time on the symbol to avoid merging engine trades. Execution therefore differs between account types.
Suggested starting setup
- Instrument: Your broker’s gold symbol, commonly XAUUSD.
- Signal timeframe: M5.
- Default volume: 0.01 lots, subject to broker volume requirements.
- Default active engines: E2, E6, and E7.
Test the EA using your broker’s specifications, spreads, and execution conditions before live use. If the requested lot size is below the broker’s minimum, the minimum volume is used.
