Kiwi ADX Bot MT5 is a free automated trading Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5 that combines an ADX-based seed entry engine with a Smart Grid Basket Manager.
The EA uses the Average Directional Index (ADX) together with +DI and -DI directional information to identify potential trading opportunities. Once a qualifying seed trade is opened, the integrated grid manager can automatically manage the developing BUY or SELL basket.
Kiwi ADX Bot is part of the Kiwi trading bot family and is designed around a simple concept:
ADX Trend Strength + Directional Entry + Smart Basket Management
ADX Seed Entry Engine
Unlike the Kiwi MA Bot, which uses Moving Average signals, Kiwi ADX Bot uses an ADX-focused entry system.
The seed engine evaluates:
- ADX trend strength
- +DI and -DI direction
- Higher-timeframe ADX confirmation
- Minimum trend-strength requirements
- BUY and SELL conditions independently
This gives Kiwi ADX Bot its own entry behavior while retaining the proven Kiwi Grid & Seed trade-management architecture.
Three Trading Profiles
The dashboard provides three predefined ADX entry profiles:
CONSERVATIVE – More selective ADX conditions designed for fewer entries.
NORMAL – Balanced trade frequency and filtering. This is the recommended default profile.
FREQUENT – Relaxed entry conditions designed to generate more trading opportunities.
Profiles can be selected directly from the interactive dashboard.
Auto Seed + Manual Seed
Kiwi ADX Bot supports two ways to start a basket.
Auto Seed:
The EA automatically searches for ADX-qualified opportunities and opens the initial seed trade.
Manual Seed:
The trader can place a manual trade on the symbol and allow the Smart Grid Basket Manager to manage it.
Turning Auto Seed OFF does not disable basket management. Manual trades can still be managed by the grid system.
This makes the EA useful as both an automated ADX trading robot and an interactive trade-management tool.
Smart Grid Basket Manager
After a seed position exists, the EA can automatically build and manage the corresponding basket.
The interactive dashboard provides control over:
- Maximum grid orders
- Grid distance
- Lot multiplier
- BUY / SELL / BOTH direction
- Pause Grid
- Money target
- Apply Settings
- Close BUY Basket
- Close SELL Basket
- Close All
BUY and SELL baskets are monitored independently.
The dashboard displays basket information including:
- Number of orders
- Total lots
- Basket profit/loss
- Break-even price
- Next grid level
- Basket profit target
Scaled Money Target
The money target automatically scales according to the original seed lot size.
For example, if the target is configured as:
$1.50 per 0.01 seed lot
a larger original seed position receives a proportionally larger basket target.
This provides more consistent basket-management behavior across different seed lot sizes.
Drawdown Protection
Grid trading can create substantial market exposure, so Kiwi ADX Bot includes built-in protection controls.
The EA monitors:

The EA uses its programmed signal logic internally, so traders should use the recommended default configuration first before experimenting with more aggressive settings.
Important Risk Information
Kiwi ADX Bot uses grid trading.
Grid strategies can accumulate multiple positions and significantly increase market exposure when price continues moving against an existing basket. Increasing the lot multiplier, reducing grid distance or allowing a large number of grid orders can substantially increase drawdown and margin requirements.
Historical Strategy Tester results do not guarantee future profitability. Live results may differ because of spreads, commissions, slippage, liquidity, execution conditions, leverage and changing market behavior.
Start with conservative lot sizes and test the EA on a demo account before considering live trading.
