Nonrepaint Gold Advanced Dark Bands

OVERVIEW

Gold Advanced Dark Bands is a premium counter-trend indicator for MetaTrader 5, built around adaptive volatility bands that automatically adjust to current market conditions. When price touches or breaches the upper or lower band and closes back inside, the indicator fires a confirmed signal — graded A, B, or C based on how many confluence filters align at that moment.

Step 1 — Attach to chart Place the indicator on any chart on M1, M5, M15, M30 or H1 (check win rate to select the best timeframe). Allow 2-3 bars for the ATR and EMA to populate. The bands will appear immediately. 

When a signal is generated, it will show TP1, TP2, TP3 and SL

Unlike basic band indicators, Gold Advanced Dark Bands combines RSI confirmation, volume analysis, and higher timeframe trend filtering into a single unified signal, so you always know not just that a signal fired, but how strong it is.

🟡 HOW IT WORKS

The indicator draws two adaptive bands around price:

• Upper band (blue) — calculated as EMA + ATR × multiplier. When price closes back below this band after touching or breaching it, a SELL signal fires.
• Lower band (red) — calculated as EMA − ATR × multiplier. When price closes back above this band after touching or breaching it, a BUY signal fires.

Both bands automatically widen during high-volatility conditions and tighten during low-volatility periods, keeping the signal logic relevant across all market environments without any manual adjustment.

🟡 SIGNAL GRADING SYSTEM — A / B / C

Every signal is scored across three confluence filters before being assigned a grade:

Grade A — All 3 filters aligned RSI in the correct zone + volume above average + higher timeframe trend confirmation. Highest probability setup. Alert fires regardless of AlertOnlyGradeA setting.

Grade B — 2 of 3 filters aligned Strong setup. Suitable for most traders. Recommended for active trading.

Grade C — Band touch only Minimum confirmation. Displayed on chart in grey for awareness. Not recommended for entries without additional personal analysis.

Signals appear directly on the chart as text labels: SELL [A], BUY [B], SELL [C] — so you instantly know the quality of every historical and live signal without reading the panel.

🟡 HOW TO USE

Step 1 — Attach to chart Place the indicator on any chart on M1, M5, M15, M30 or H1 (check win rate to select the best timeframe). Allow 2-3 bars for the ATR and EMA to populate. The bands will appear immediately.

Step 2 — Wait for Grade A or B signals Grade A signals (gold label) are your highest priority entries — all three confluence filters have confirmed the setup. Grade B signals (cyan label) are strong and suitable for most entries. Avoid Grade C signals unless you have additional confirmation from your own analysis.

Step 3 — Use the trade levels When a signal fires, TP1/TP2/TP3 and SL lines appear on the chart automatically. Enter on the signal bar close, place your stop at the SL line, and target TP1 first — once TP1 is hit, move your stop to break-even and let TP2 and TP3 run.

Step 4 — Check the news filter Before entering, confirm the panel shows NEWS: CLEAR. If it shows BLOCKED, a high-impact news event is within 30 minutes — wait for the block to lift before entering.

Step 5 — Monitor the session statistics The win rate and grade breakdown in the panel update continuously. If the win rate drops below 50% on your current symbol and timeframe, consider switching to a different instrument where the indicator performs better.
