TradeVector FX
Smart Grid Trading System for MetaTrader 5 Built for U.S. Broker Compliance | Full FIFO Support | No Hedging Required
Finding a grid or recovery EA that works under U.S. regulatory constraints is a real challenge. Most grid systems rely on simultaneous hedging or closing positions out of order — both of which can cause rejection on FIFO-regulated accounts.
TradeVector FX was designed from the ground up to solve this. It delivers structured grid recovery while respecting First-In-First-Out execution rules.
- No hedging workarounds
- No broker errors from out-of-order closing
- No compliance headaches
If you trade through a U.S.-regulated broker such as FOREX.com, TastyFX, or Trading.com, this EA is built to work out of the box. It is also compatible with international hedging accounts.
Core Features
FIFO-Compliant Execution All basket closures follow strict chronological order. There is no simultaneous buy/sell hedging and no out-of-order closing logic, helping prevent broker rejection errors on U.S. NFA-regulated accounts.
Trend-Adaptive Entry Logic Entries are filtered through a multi-indicator directional engine using ADX, DI, MACD, RSI, and a higher-timeframe EMA trend bias. TradeVector FX does not blindly stack positions against a runaway market. Grid legs are only added when directional conditions support mean-reversion potential.
Leverage-Adaptive Risk Management TradeVector FX automatically reads your account leverage and adjusts its entry sensitivity, lot sizing, and profit targets accordingly. Lower-leverage accounts (such as U.S. brokers at 1:50 or 1:100) receive more conservative signal filtering, while higher-leverage accounts can take advantage of more trading opportunities. No manual tuning required — the EA adapts to your broker automatically.
Built-In News Filter The EA connects to the MetaTrader economic calendar and automatically pauses new trade cycles ahead of high-impact events such as NFP, CPI, FOMC, and major central bank announcements. Configurable lookahead and cooldown windows let you control how conservatively the EA trades around news.
Basket Loss Protection An optional hard dollar cap can be applied to basket drawdown. If a grid cycle moves too far against you, the EA can close the basket at a controlled loss instead of allowing the cycle to continue toward a margin call.
Grouped Basket Management All positions within a grid cycle are tracked and managed as one unified basket. A virtual trailing take-profit monitors the group as a whole and is designed to lock in profit once the cycle turns positive.
Flexible Lot Sizing TradeVector FX supports three grid lot modes:
- Step — incremental lot increase per grid leg
- Flat — same lot size for every grid leg
- Multiply — geometric scaling with configurable multiplier
Automatic equity-based lot caps help prevent oversizing.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does it achieve grid trading while remaining FIFO compliant?
Traditional grid EAs fail on U.S. accounts because they may try to close positions out of chronological order or open opposing hedged positions. TradeVector FX manages each basket as a chronological sequence. It applies virtual trailing take-profit across the group and closes positions in the order they were opened. No broker execution errors. No compliance violations.
Is this a Martingale system?
No. TradeVector FX uses structured grid recovery with controlled lot progression — not exponential doubling. An equity-based lot cap helps prevent any single leg from becoming disproportionately large. However, like all grid strategies, extended one-directional moves can produce drawdown. The basket loss protection feature is designed to help limit this risk.
How does the leverage adaptation work?
The EA reads your account leverage at startup and automatically calculates the optimal ADX entry threshold, lot sizing, and trailing profit targets. Lower-leverage accounts receive tighter entry filters and adjusted position sizing so the EA behaves appropriately for your margin environment. You never need to manually adjust settings when switching between brokers.
How does the news filter work?
The EA reads the MetaTrader 5 built-in economic calendar. You can configure how many minutes before a high-impact event to stop opening new cycles and how many minutes after the event to resume trading. This helps reduce exposure to volatile slippage around major news releases without automatically closing existing positions.
Can I run this on a VPS?
Yes. TradeVector FX is fully automated and optimized for VPS deployment. However, no algorithmic trading system is entirely hands-off. Performance should be monitored periodically, especially around major geopolitical events or abnormal market conditions.
Does it work on international broker accounts?
Yes. The EA automatically detects the account type, including hedging or netting accounts. Because TradeVector FX never opens opposing positions simultaneously, it works correctly on both account types without modification.
Risk Disclosure
Forex trading involves significant risk of loss. TradeVector FX uses a grid-based recovery strategy. While trend-adaptive filters, news pausing, and basket loss protection are built in to help manage risk, extended one-directional market movements can still produce significant drawdown.
