What makes it different
Most automated systems fail because they enter at the wrong moment — chasing price after a move has already happened, or placing stops with no logical reference to market structure. Trendy Space solves both problems simultaneously.
It uses a two-timeframe architecture: the higher timeframe defines whether the market is genuinely trending, and the lower timeframe identifies the exact moment price has paused, pulled back, and is showing early signs of resumption. Only when both frames agree does the EA act.
Stop losses are not arbitrary multiples of ATR dropped randomly below entry. They are placed at real structural levels — the swing points that, if broken, genuinely invalidate the trade idea. This means every loss is a meaningful market signal, not random noise hitting a tight stop.
Spread filter — rejects entry if live spread exceeds the configured maximum. Protects against news spikes, low-liquidity gaps, and broker manipulation windows.
Volatility filter — requires ATR to be within a defined range before any trade is considered. Too quiet means false signals. Too volatile means uncontrollable slippage. The EA only operates in the middle ground.
Session filter — restricts trading to a defined hourly window. Avoids Sunday gaps, rollover periods, and overnight thin-market conditions.
Stop level validation — every order is checked against the broker's minimum stop distance including live spread before submission. Invalid orders are silently skipped, not retried in a loop.
Margin validation — before any order is placed, available free margin is checked. If the calculated position size exceeds 95% of free margin, the trade is skipped automatically.
Volume cap — a configurable maximum lot size prevents oversized positions regardless of account balance or risk percentage settings.
Recommended minimum account balance is $1,000 for US500 at default settings. Compatible with any ECN or STP broker offering US500 or S&P500 index CFDs with competitive spreads. Optimized and tested on MetaTrader 5 with netting account mode.
