JCB — Just Check the Balance — is a fully automated Expert Advisor focused on risk control and capital preservation. You don’t need to watch the charts all the time: choose a strategy, enable the EA, and it will trade on its own — opening positions only when market conditions truly match the built-in logic.
Its key feature is an integrated volatility filter that works like a safety fuse for your account. The EA constantly measures current market “turbulence” and avoids trading when price action becomes chaotic and the chance of random stop-outs is higher (sharp spikes, range expansion, unstable phases). In calmer and more predictable conditions, trading is allowed. This reduces unnecessary entries and helps keep drawdown within reasonable limits.
The EA trades in both directions at the same time and is not tied to “guessing” the global trend. It doesn’t matter whether the market ultimately goes up or down — the key is that price keeps moving and creates tradable segments where the algorithm can execute its entry and exit logic. This makes the robot effective across uptrends, downtrends, and transitional periods.
At the same time, the system does not try to “chase” price during aggressive spikes. If the movement becomes too fast and messy, protective logic activates: the EA skips risky moments and waits until the market returns to a more controlled mode. This reduces random entries and helps protect the deposit during high volatility.
The EA works strictly with three instruments: GBPUSD, USDCAD, and EURGBP — and this is intentional. There is no truly universal robot “for all pairs”: each instrument has its own volatility profile, news reaction, spreads, and typical behavior. We deliberately didn’t spread the system across dozens of symbols and spent 2 years developing and fine-tuning the algorithms specifically for these pairs — keeping only the ones that show the most stable results.
Entry and exit logic is fully built into the algorithm: the robot doesn’t require complex optimization and isn’t overloaded with settings. You set basic risk parameters (lot size, drawdown limits, and protection modes), and then the EA makes decisions on its own: it opens trades when it should, and it does not open orders when conditions are not suitable — which is crucial for discipline and capital protection in unstable periods.

Choose the instrument from the list: GBPUSD (Pound/US Dollar), USDCAD (US Dollar/Canadian Dollar), EURGBP (Euro/Pound).
Important: select the same symbol as the chart where you attach the EA. Double-check to avoid any mismatch.
Lot Type
Choose the position sizing mode:

Fixed — the lot size is set manually and does not change.

Drawdown-Based Trading Restrictions (Deposit Protection)

Disable first entry at DD % — when drawdown reaches the set level, the EA stops opening new “first” trades.
