Multi-Timeframe Forex Trend Scanner for MetaTrader 5
CapitalSol Forex MTF Scanner is a multi-symbol and multi-timeframe market analysis indicator designed to provide a structured overview of Forex market direction directly inside MetaTrader 5.
Instead of opening and checking multiple currency charts individually, the scanner displays the selected Forex pairs in one compact dashboard and evaluates their directional state across several timeframes simultaneously.
The standard dashboard uses M15, H1, H4 and D1 and classifies each market and timeframe as BULL, BEAR, NEUTRAL or LOADING.
The objective is not to generate automatic trading decisions, but to help traders identify directional alignment and multi-timeframe confluence more efficiently.
HOW THE SCANNER WORKS
The trend classification is based on EMA 20 and EMA 50.
BULL:
EMA 20 is positioned above EMA 50.
BEAR:
EMA 20 is positioned below EMA 50.
NEUTRAL:
No valid directional classification is currently available.
LOADING:
The required market history or indicator data is not yet completely available.
The scanner uses confirmed closed bars for its analysis. This prevents the dashboard from basing its trend classification on an unfinished candle whose EMA relationship may still change before the candle closes.
MULTI-TIMEFRAME CONFLUENCE
One of the main purposes of the scanner is to make timeframe alignment immediately visible.
For example:
M15 = BULL
H1 = BULL
H4 = BULL
D1 = BULL
This represents 4/4 bullish alignment.
Likewise:
M15 = BEAR
H1 = BEAR
H4 = BEAR
D1 = BEAR
represents 4/4 bearish alignment.
Mixed conditions remain visible as individual BULL and BEAR cells, allowing the trader to distinguish strong directional agreement from conflicting market structure.
DASHBOARD
The interface was designed for fast visual interpretation.
Green cells represent bullish conditions.
Red cells represent bearish conditions.
Neutral and loading states are displayed separately.

INTERACTIVE CHART NAVIGATION
The symbol names in the dashboard are interactive.
Clicking a Forex pair allows the trader to switch directly to the corresponding market without manually searching for the symbol in Market Watch.
The scanner remains available during chart navigation, making it possible to move quickly from market screening to detailed chart analysis.
FOREX UNIVERSE
The scanner is designed around a predefined Forex universe rather than requiring the user to manually type arbitrary symbol names.
Depending on the selected configuration and the symbols offered by the broker, the scanner can monitor major and cross currency pairs including combinations of:
EUR
USD
GBP
JPY
CHF
AUD
NZD
CAD
Broker symbol naming conventions can differ. The scanner therefore attempts to work with the symbols available in the connected MetaTrader 5 environment.
HISTORY AND DATA HANDLING
Multi-timeframe analysis requires sufficient historical data for every selected symbol and timeframe.
When MetaTrader 5 has not yet downloaded enough historical bars, the affected market may temporarily display LOADING or no valid trend state.
This is especially relevant for higher timeframes such as D1.
Once sufficient historical data becomes available, the scanner automatically updates the corresponding analysis.
