Titan Adaptive Gold Grid
Titan1000 is a configurable Expert Advisor designed for XAUUSD trading. It combines SuperTrend entries, optional trend filters, dynamic ATR-based grid management, fractal support and resistance levels, basket profit management and execution protections.
The default configuration uses a permissive entry profile. Titan1000 can open a new basket according to the current SuperTrend direction without requiring a new trend reversal. Traders can activate additional filters to create more selective or conservative configurations.
ENTRY LOGIC
Titan1000 opens a new basket only when no other positions managed by the same Magic Number are active on the current symbol.
Two entry modes are available:
- Trend Direction: enters according to the current SuperTrend direction.
- Trend Flip: enters only after a confirmed SuperTrend direction change.
The user can allow Buy and Sell positions, Buy positions only or Sell positions only. The SuperTrend period, multiplier and signal timeframe are fully configurable.
PERMISSIVE DEFAULT PROFILE
The default configuration is designed to provide frequent entry opportunities:
- Buy and Sell directions enabled
- Entry with the current SuperTrend direction
- ADX entry filter disabled
- Multi-timeframe filter disabled
- Trading schedule disabled
- Economic news filter disabled
- Hard ADX entry block disabled
- Entry evaluation once per signal bar
- Spread protection enabled with a permissive threshold
All filters can be activated independently from the Inputs menu.
OPTIONAL ADX ENTRY FILTER
The ADX filter can restrict new entries according to market strength. The user can configure:
- ADX period
- Minimum ADX value
- Maximum ADX value
- Independent filter activation
- Optional hard ADX block for initial entries
MULTI-TIMEFRAME CONFIRMATION
Titan1000 includes an optional multi-timeframe trend filter based on a configurable moving average.
The user can select:
- Three independent confirmation timeframes
- One, two or three required confirmations
- Moving-average period
- Moving-average method
- Applied price
For a Buy confirmation, the closed price must be above the selected moving average. For a Sell confirmation, it must be below the moving average.
DYNAMIC ATR GRID
When the market moves against the initial position, Titan1000 can add recovery positions using a dynamic distance based on ATR volatility.
Grid settings include:
- ATR period and multiplier
- Minimum grid distance
- Maximum grid distance
- Grid calculation timeframe
- Maximum number of basket positions
- Fractal support and resistance analysis
- Support or resistance proximity
- Emergency-distance multiplier
A recovery position can be added only after the required distance has been reached. The price must also be close to a recent fractal support or resistance level, unless the emergency-distance condition is satisfied.
INDIVIDUAL GRID LEVELS
Titan1000 supports up to ten individually configurable levels.
Each level includes:
- Independent activation
- Independent lot size
Level 1 controls the initial entry size. Levels 2 to 10 control the recovery positions. Equal lot sizes can be used to avoid an automatic martingale progression.
BASKET PROFIT MANAGEMENT
All positions opened by Titan1000 on the current symbol and Magic Number are managed as one basket.
Available exit functions include:
- Basket Take Profit in account currency
- Money-based trailing system
- Custom trailing activation profit
- Custom trailing gap
- Automatic basket closure
When the trailing system becomes active, Titan1000 calculates a protected profit floor. The floor rises when basket profit increases. If profit returns to the protected level, all EA positions are closed.
STRONG-TREND GRID PROTECTION
Grid expansion can be suspended when ADX indicates a strong directional market.
The user can configure:
- ADX grid protection activation
- Soft grid-stop threshold
- Hard grid-stop threshold
- Optional hard ADX block for initial entries
Grid protection remains enabled in the default profile. Initial entries are permissive, while recovery additions retain an additional trend-strength control.
TRADING SCHEDULE
Titan1000 includes an optional trading schedule with:
- Custom entry start time
- Custom entry end time
- Optional intraday pause
- Custom pause start and end times
Existing baskets continue to be managed even when new entries are disabled by the schedule.
SPREAD AND EXECUTION CONTROLS
The Expert Advisor includes:
- Optional maximum-spread filter
- Custom spread limit in points
- Custom maximum slippage
- Automatic filling-mode selection
- Unique Magic Number management
ECONOMIC CALENDAR FILTER
Titan1000 can use the MetaTrader economic calendar to suspend entries around selected events.
Available settings include:
- Minutes before an event
- Minutes after an event
- High-impact-only mode
- Event currency
- Custom event keywords
The default keyword list includes CPI, Nonfarm Payrolls, NFP, FOMC, Federal Reserve and unemployment events.
Economic calendar availability depends on the MetaTrader terminal, broker environment and available calendar history.
MONEY MANAGEMENT
Titan1000 provides:
- Fixed initial lot size
- Individual lot size for every grid level
- Optional multiplier mode
- Basket target in account currency
- Money-trailing parameters
The optional multiplier mode doubles the configured lot sizes, basket target and trailing gap. It is not a percentage-based automatic risk calculator.
DEFAULT OPERATING PROFILE
The included preset is intended as a starting configuration for:
- Symbol: XAUUSD
- Timeframe: M15
- Initial lot size: 0.01
- Maximum basket positions: 5
- Dynamic ATR grid enabled
- Basket Take Profit enabled
- Money trailing enabled
- Strong-trend grid protection enabled
The settings should always be adapted to the broker’s symbol specification, account balance, leverage, spread and personal risk tolerance.
ACCOUNT TYPE
Titan1000 is designed primarily for hedging accounts, where each grid entry remains visible as a separate position.
On netting accounts, multiple entries on the same symbol are consolidated into one position. This can change the intended grid-level counting and recovery behavior.
INSTALLATION
1. Attach Titan1000 to an XAUUSD chart.
2. Select the M15 timeframe or another preferred timeframe.
3. Enable algorithmic trading in MetaTrader 5.
4. Open the Inputs tab.
5. Load the supplied preset or configure the parameters manually.
6. Verify lot sizes, spread limit and Magic Number.
7. Test the complete configuration in the Strategy Tester.
RISK INFORMATION
Titan1000 uses recovery positions and does not apply a conventional fixed Stop Loss to every position. Grid and recovery systems can increase exposure and drawdown during strong or prolonged directional movements.
The permissive default profile can generate more entries than a filtered configuration. It should therefore be tested and adjusted before live use.
Historical results do not guarantee future performance. Market conditions, execution, spread, slippage, leverage and broker specifications can materially affect results. Always test the Expert Advisor in the Strategy Tester and on a demo account before considering live trading.
