Prop Gold Breakout

Prop Gold Breakout is a fully automated Expert Advisor for XAUUSD (Gold) on the M15 timeframe, built specifically for prop‑firm challenges and funded accounts.
The EA uses a clean breakout logic with pending orders, no martingale and no grid, making it suitable for strict risk and drawdown rules.

The strategy scans a recent price range, places Buy Stop and Sell Stop orders outside that range with a configurable buffer, and manages each position using fixed Stop Loss / Take Profit, breakeven and trailing stop.
Trading is blocked automatically when spread is too high or when the daily profit target is reached.

The EA was backtested on a low‑spread ECN environment with spread fixed at 35 points or less.
For best results and for prop‑firm challenges, use brokers and accounts with similar spread and execution conditions.

Parameters Overview

• Lots – fixed lot size per trade

• Slippage – maximum allowed slippage in points

• MagicNumber – unique ID for this EA’s orders

• RangeBars – number of bars used to define the breakout range

• EntryBufferPoints – distance in points above/below the range for pending orders

• StopLossPoints – fixed Stop Loss in points

• TakeProfitPoints – fixed Take Profit in points

• MaxSpreadPoints – EA will not place orders if spread is above this value

• UseSessionFilter – enable/disable trading by server hour

• SessionStartHour / SessionEndHour – trading session hours

• DeleteOldPendings – delete previous pending orders when a new setup appears

• PendingExpiryBars – number of bars after which pending orders are deleted

• OneTradeOrSetupOnly – if true, EA will keep only one active setup/trade at a time

• EnableBuy / EnableSell – enable or disable long/short setups

• UseBreakEven – enable automatic move of Stop Loss to breakeven

How to Use

1. Attach the EA to XAUUSD M15 chart.

2. Check that your broker offers low spread on Gold (≤ 35 points).

3. Choose a conservative lot size according to your account size and prop‑firm rules.

4. Keep the terminal or VPS running to allow continuous operation.

5. Monitor results and adjust risk (Lots and DailyProfitPercent) to your personal risk profile.
