HOW THE SCORING MODEL WORKS

Most scanners score signals purely by pattern type. That is the wrong approach. A textbook reversal pattern in the middle of a ranging market is a low-quality trade. The same pattern at the highest monthly close extreme is an entirely different trade.
Signal Days Scanner Pro separates WHERE price is from WHAT pattern has confirmed — and scores both independently.
LOCATION SCORE — The Base (0 to 5)
Answers the question: Is price at a level that matters?
● HCOM / LCOM = 5 Highest or Lowest Close of the Month. The most significant monthly reference level. Institutional traders watch these levels religiously. When price reaches the highest or lowest closing price of the month and a pattern confirms, the move that follows is frequently sharp, fast, and sustained.
● HOW / LOW = 3 High or Low of the current Week. Session-level significance. Strong enough to produce clean intraday and swing reversals when confirmed by pattern.
● H3D / L3D = 1 3-Day Daily High or Low. The most recent short-term extreme. Valid context but lower conviction on its own.
● No Extreme = 0 Pattern exists but price is not at a meaningful level. Low conviction. The scanner shows it but the meter will reflect the weakness.
PATTERN BOOST — The Confirmation (0 to 5)
Answers the question: What has confirmed at this level?
● 3HC / 3LC = 5 Three consecutive higher or lower daily closes. The strongest momentum signal in the scanner. Three days of directional closes into an extreme indicates trapped traders on the wrong side and impending institutional reversal or acceleration.
● Inside Day = 3 Daily compression at an extreme level. The market has stopped moving. Potential energy is building. When an inside day forms at HCOM or LCOM, the subsequent breakout frequently has no meaningful opposition — the move is clean and fast.
● FRD / FGD = 2 First Red Day or First Green Day after the directional run. The execution trigger candle. Confirms that the momentum is exhausting and the reversal is beginning.
● CIB / LIVE = 1 Close-in-Breakout or live intraday liquidity sweep. Valid confirmation but the weakest tier. Worth watching at high extreme levels, worth ignoring without one.
TOTAL SCORE = Location + Pattern, capped at 10.

SIGNAL TYPES DETECTED

3HC — THREE HIGHER CLOSES
Three consecutive daily closes higher. The market is being driven upward by sustained institutional buying. At a weekly or monthly high extreme, this is the signature of trapped breakout buyers who will be forced to cover — producing the sharp reversal move. In a trending context with no extreme present, it signals momentum continuation.
3LC — THREE LOWER CLOSES
Mirror image of 3HC. Three consecutive lower closes driving price into a weekly or monthly low extreme. The highest-rated pattern in the scanner when paired with HCOM or LCOM context.
INSIDE DAY
The entire daily range of today falls inside yesterday's range. The market is compressing. At a significant extreme this is the EMA coil equivalent on the daily chart — all timeframes are
beginning to align. The breakout from an inside day at HCOM or LCOM is frequently the beginning of a multi-session move.
FRD — FIRST RED DAY
The first bearish daily candle after a sequence of three or more higher closes. Confirms the upward push is losing institutional support. Not a reversal by itself — a reversal trigger. Requires an extreme level for full conviction.
FGD — FIRST GREEN DAY
Mirror image of FRD. The first bullish candle after a downwardsequence. The execution signal for buyers who have been waiting at the monthly or weekly low.
CIB UP / CIB DN — CLOSE IN BREAKOUT
A daily candle that closes above the previous day's high (CIB UP) or below the previous day's low (CIB DN). Breakout traders are now positioned. At a monthly extreme, these traders are
positioned at the worst possible price — their stops become fuel for the institutional reversal.
LIVE BO — LIVE INTRADAY LIQUIDITY SWEEP
Detected in real time using a stabilised three-consecutive-M5- bar confirmation gate. Triggers when today's price wicks above the previous day's high (or below the previous day's low) and then three consecutive M5 bars close back inside the swept level. Prevents false positives from single-tick oscillation around the sweep zone. Requires the M5 chart to be open for the relevant symbol.

THREE-DAY STRUCTURE INTELLIGENCE

The scanner automatically tracks the institutional three-day setup cycle for every instrument in the scan universe.
Every signal is labelled with its position in the cycle:
D1-Fail The failed breakout day. The setup has begun.
Mark the level and start watching.
D2-Signal The alert day. Pattern is forming. The setup
is moving into its execution window.
D3-Trade The execution day. Highest conviction entry
window. This is where the move starts.
You never need to manually count days across multiple pairs. The label is displayed in every signal row automatically.

THE QUALITY METER

The strength column displays five rectangular blocks instead of a number. Each block represents two points of composite score. Block colour reflects the trade direction determined by the scanner:
Green blocks = BUY direction
Red blocks = SELL direction
Amber blocks = WATCH — direction not yet confirmed
Five full red blocks at a monthly high extreme means: this instrument is the highest priority on your watchlist today. One dim block at no extreme means: skip it. There will bea better setup on another instrument. The minimum quality filter in the dashboard lets you set a block threshold. Filter to 4 blocks and you only see the setups that score 7 or above. The noise disappears entirely.

NEWS AND RISK PROTECTION

NFP AUTO-DETECTION
The first Friday of every month is automatically detected. A prominent red warning banner activates across the full dashboard. All sound alerts are suppressed until the flag clears. You cannot accidentally receive a setup alert and trade into Non-Farm Payrolls.
MANUAL NEWS OVERRIDE
Enable the InputNewsWarningActive input for any scheduled high-impact event. FOMC, CPI, GDP, central bank rate decisions — the warning banner activates and alerts stop. Disable it
after the release and normal scanning resumes immediately.
NO TRADING DURING NEWS IS HARDCODED INTO THE ALERT LOGIC.
The scanner will not alert you while the flag is active.

LIVE SCANNING ENGINE
Incremental batch scanning processes 5 symbols every 40 milliseconds. The terminal never freezes. The UI remains fully responsive during scanning. A progress indicator shows how many symbols have been processed in real time.
SMART HISTORY CHECK
Before scanning any symbol, the indicator checks whether D1 price history is locally cached. Symbols without cached data are skipped automatically. This prevents MT4 from queuing
simultaneous server requests — the primary cause of terminal freezes in multi-symbol scanners.
ONE-CLICK CHART OPENING
Click any symbol or signal name in the dashboard to instantly open a H1 chart for that instrument.
CSV EXPORT
Export the full filtered signal list to a CSV file with one click. Columns include: Date, Symbol, Signal, Direction, Extreme, ExtremeScore, SignalBoost, Strength, Blocks, Week,
StructureDay, Session, Freshness, Age in days.
SIGNAL FRESHNESS INDICATORS
Every signal row shows whether it was detected TODAY (green NOW badge) or YESTERDAY (blue YDAY badge). Yesterday signals that are still valid at the open of your session are often
the highest-conviction trade of the day.
SCROLLABLE SIGNAL TABLE
Navigate through signals with Top, Page Up, Page Down,
and Bottom controls. The visible row count adjusts
automatically to your chart window size.
SORT MODES
Mode 1: Newest signals first

AGE FILTER
Set the maximum signal age from 0 to 5 days. At 0 you only see signals from today. At 3 you see the full three-day setup cycle across all instruments.
MINIMUM QUALITY FILTER
Set the block threshold from 1 to 5. At 4 blocks you only see setups scoring 7 or above — institutional grade only.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: Does it repaint?
A: No. All signals are based on fully closed D1 bars. Once a
signal appears it does not change. Live BO signals are detected
intraday and clearly labelled NOW in green — these update as
intraday price action develops, which is their intended purpose.
Q: Which broker symbols does it support?
A: The scanner includes automatic suffix resolution that finds
the correct symbol in your Market Watch in the majority of cases.
If your broker uses non-standard naming, the symbol arrays in
the input parameters can be edited before compilation.
Q: Do I need to have all charts open?
A: For the Live BO intraday sweep detection, the M5 chart must
be open for each symbol you want live detection on. For all other
signals (3HC, 3LC, Inside Day, FRD, FGD, CIB), the D1 data is
read directly and no additional charts need to be open.
Q: Can I use it on a VPS?
A: Yes. The indicator runs entirely within MT4 and has no external
dependencies. Any MT4-compatible VPS will run it without issues.
Q: Does it work on MT5?
A: This version is MT4 only. An MT5 version is not currently
available.
Q: How many instruments can it scan?
A: The custom list mode scans the instruments defined in the
three symbol arrays (Forex, Indices, Commodities). Market Watch
mode caps at 20 symbols to maintain terminal responsiveness.
The custom list has no hard cap — you can add as many symbols
as your D1 data supports.
Q: Will it slow down my terminal?
A: No. The scanning engine processes 5 symbols every 40
milliseconds using an incremental batch approach. The terminal
remains fully responsive at all times. The smart history pre-
check skips any symbol without locally cached D1 data, preventing
the simultaneous server requests that cause freezes in other
multi-symbol scanners.
