Dynamic Grid EA is a grid trading system that adapts to market volatility in real time. It automatically adjusts grid spacing, lot sizing, and position management based on current market conditions. The EA opens initial orders when entry conditions are met, then builds a grid of positions when price moves against the initial entry. Grid distance increases when volatility rises and tightens when the market calms down, with a minimum floor to prevent clustering.
Entry Filters
- Momentum-based filter with separate settings for BUY and SELL.
- Volatility band filter with separate settings for BUY and SELL.
- Candlestick pattern recognition on a configurable timeframe.
- Trend direction filter to avoid entries against the prevailing move.
- Multi-timeframe trend confirmation with weighted voting across 6 timeframes.
All filters can be enabled or disabled independently. Each filter has its own timeframe and parameters for full customization.
Grid and Lot Management
Grid spacing adapts to volatility on any timeframe with a configurable multiplier. The grid pauses automatically during abnormal price spikes. Seven lot scaling modes are available, from conservative fixed sizing to progressive scaling that adjusts based on grid depth. A maximum lot cap can be applied to all modes.
Position Close Methods
Four close methods are available: Trailing Stop, Profit Lock per side, Profit Lock combined, and Dynamic Take Profit. The Dynamic TP mode adjusts target levels based on the number of open positions, using wider targets for smaller grids and tighter targets as positions accumulate.
Risk Management
- Drawdown reduction that offsets losing positions against profitable ones.
- Progressive hedging in up to 4 steps when drawdown reaches configurable levels.
- Daily profit target that stops trading when reached.
- Loss limit by fixed amount or portfolio percentage.
- Spread control with automatic profiling or fixed maximum.
Additional Features
Trading hours with configurable start and stop times. Weekend protection stops new entries before Friday close. Economic calendar integration pauses trading around news events for selected currencies and impact levels. Cooldown timer prevents rapid re-entry. Telegram notifications send periodic reports. An on-chart dashboard displays current status and position data.
