AETHON Virtue is an Expert Advisor built only for gold (XAUUSD). It does not chase breakouts or guess the news. It waits for something simpler and more repeatable: a calm market and a short pullback. When both appear, Virtue enters, and closes the whole position as soon as price returns to a small profit target. Most trades last minutes, not days.
Gold behaves differently in Asia, London and New York, so Virtue does not use one setting for the whole day. It runs six independent modules. Each one has its own session, its own timeframe and its own rules, and each one trades only when its own conditions are met.

Every module can be switched on or off, and each one uses its own magic number, so you always know which module opened which trade.
HOW A TRADE WORKS
1. Calm-market filter. Virtue compares short-term volatility with long-term volatility. If the market is moving too fast (news spikes, panic candles, runaway trends), it does not trade.
2. Pullback check. RSI must be inside a defined band for that module, and the last closed candle must move against the trade direction. Virtue buys dips and sells pops; it does not buy at the top of a spike.
3. One clean entry. Most trades open with a single position and close at target with no further action.
4. Basket recovery. If price keeps moving against the trade, Virtue can add positions at ATR-based distances that widen with every step. The lot size stays FLAT — this is NOT a martingale, and the lot is never doubled. The number of positions is capped (default 6).
5. One exit for the whole basket. All positions close together at their average price plus a small ATR-based target. The more positions open, the closer the target moves, so recovery is faster.

RECOMMENDED SETUP
- Symbol: XAUUSD (gold). Use your broker's gold symbol, for example XAUUSD, XAUUSD.m or GOLD
- Chart timeframe: any — each module reads its own timeframe internally. Attach to ONE chart only
- Account type: HEDGING (required — the EA will not start on a netting account)
- Leverage: 1:500 or higher for the default lot size. On lower leverage, reduce "Lots per 100k balance": about 1.0 for 1:200 and 0.5 for 1:100
- Minimum balance: $1,000 recommended, or a cent account for smaller deposits
- Broker: low spread, fast execution, ECN or Raw account preferred
- VPS: strongly recommended, because the modules trade around the clock
QUICK START
1. Attach AETHON Virtue to one XAUUSD chart (any timeframe) and enable Algo Trading.
2. Open the Experts tab. Virtue prints a "Clock" line telling you the correct InpHourShift for your broker. If your setting is different, change it to the printed value.
- Brokers on New York close time (GMT+2 winter / GMT+3 summer): 0
- Brokers on GMT+1 / GMT+2 (European time): usually -1
3. If your gold symbol has 3 digits (price like 4123.456), raise Max spread and Slippage to about 1000 points.
4. Leave everything else at default. That is it.

- InpHourShift — your broker's clock offset (Virtue tells you the correct value)
- InpAutoLots / InpLotsPer100k — automatic lot sizing (default 1.7 lots per $100,000)

RISK — PLEASE READ
Honesty matters more to us than a pretty screenshot. Virtue does NOT use a stop-loss on its baskets. That is how it reaches its high win rate: instead of accepting a loss, it waits for price to return and recovers the basket. In a strong one-way move, a basket can stay open for hours with a large floating loss.
- Trade only with money you can afford to lose
- Start on a cent account
- Do not increase the lot size above default without testing first — risk grows quickly with lot size
- Do not run other EAs on the same symbol on the same account
