GOLD TRIAD PRO - THREE-ENGINE EXPERT ADVISOR FOR METATRADER 5
Three engines. One gold trading system.
Gold Triad Pro is an Expert Advisor designed for trading gold (XAUUSD) on the H1 timeframe. It combines three independent trading engines, RIDER, REBOUND, and CORE, each designed to address a different type of market behaviour.
Gold does not behave the same way in every market environment. It can move in strong trends, reverse sharply after an extended move, or spend time moving without a clear direction. Gold Triad Pro brings three different trading engines together in one EA, allowing you to enable the engines you want to use.
Each engine operates independently, with its own settings and trade identification number. The EA also includes trade-management features designed to help manage risk and respond to changing market conditions.
THE THREE TRADING ENGINES
1. RIDER - TREND ENGINE
RIDER is designed to participate in strong directional moves. It looks for conditions suitable for trend trading and can stand aside when the market-mood filter identifies conditions that are less suitable for the trend engine.
The purpose of RIDER is to provide a dedicated engine for directional market conditions rather than relying exclusively on reversal-style entries.
2. REBOUND - SNAPBACK ENGINE
REBOUND is designed to trade snapbacks and reversals when gold moves away from a more balanced price area and subsequently meets the engine's entry conditions.
Unlike a buy-only strategy, REBOUND can trade in both directions, opening buy and sell positions as its conditions are satisfied.
3. CORE - STEADY ENTRY ENGINE
CORE is the entry engine also available in the free Gold Triad EA. It waits for its trading conditions and manages trades with a stop-loss.
CORE provides a separate trading approach within the Pro system, alongside the trend-focused RIDER engine and the two-way REBOUND engine.
HOW THE ENGINES WORK TOGETHER
The three engines operate independently. They may identify opportunities at different times, and they do not need to open trades simultaneously.
Because the engines use different trading approaches, their activity can vary with market conditions. Running multiple engines also means that more than one position may be open at the same time.
The combined exposure of all active engines should therefore be considered when choosing lot sizes and deciding which engines to enable.
BUILT-IN RISK AND TRADE MANAGEMENT
1. STOP-LOSS ON EVERY TRADE
Every position opened by the EA is assigned a stop-loss. This provides a defined protective exit level, although actual execution may differ because of slippage, gaps, and broker conditions.
2. MARKET-MOOD FILTER
The market-mood filter helps the trend engine identify conditions in which it should stand aside rather than attempt to trade an unsuitable market environment.
3. SMART EARLY EXIT
When the relevant exit conditions are met, the EA can close a trade before the full stop-loss is reached. This feature is designed to respond when a move loses momentum after entry. It cannot guarantee that losses will remain small.
4. PROFIT-LOCK TRAILING
When a position moves into profit, the trailing mechanism can adjust trade protection according to the EA's rules. The purpose is to help protect accumulated gains as a trade develops, although profits are never guaranteed.
5. AUTO-PAUSE BRAKE
After a difficult trading sequence, the affected engine can pause for a period before looking for new opportunities. This feature is designed to introduce a temporary break in trading activity following a rough patch.
6. OPTIONAL SPREAD GUARD
The maximum-spread setting can prevent new trades from opening when the current spread exceeds the configured limit. A value of zero disables this spread limit.
YOUR SETTINGS, YOUR CONTROL
1. ADJUSTABLE LOT SIZE
You can configure the lot size used by each enabled engine. This provides more flexibility than the free edition, which uses a fixed volume of 0.01 lot.
Review the combined exposure carefully when multiple engines are enabled.
2. INDIVIDUAL ENGINE SWITCHES
RIDER, REBOUND, and CORE each have an independent on/off setting. You can enable all three engines or select only the engines you want to run.
3. ON-CHART DASHBOARD
The dashboard displays the status of the engines directly on the chart, helping you monitor their activity from one place.
4. SEPARATE MAGIC NUMBERS
Each engine uses its own magic number to identify its trades. This helps distinguish positions opened by RIDER, REBOUND, and CORE.
RECOMMENDED SETUP
Platform: MetaTrader 5
Instrument: Gold (XAUUSD or GOLD)
Timeframe: H1
Account type: Hedging
Default lot size: 0.05 per engine
Suggested balance guideline: USD 1,000 per 0.01 lot per engine
Operating requirement: MetaTrader 5 must remain running and connected for the EA to monitor the market and manage positions. A VPS is strongly recommended for continuous operation.
IMPORTANT POSITION-SIZING NOTE
The default lot size is 0.06 per engine, while the balance guideline is USD 1,000 per 0.01 lot per engine. These figures are not equivalent. Review the default setting before enabling live trading and choose a volume appropriate for your account.
The suggested balance is a general guideline, not a guarantee of suitable risk. Actual exposure depends on contract specifications, account currency, leverage, margin requirements, stop distance, market conditions, and the number of active engines.

INPUT PARAMETERS
LOT SIZE PER ENGINE
Default: 0.06
Sets the trading volume used by each enabled engine. Consider the combined exposure when more than one engine is active.
MAX SPREAD (POINTS)
Default: 0
Sets the maximum spread allowed for opening new trades. A value of zero disables the spread limit. When a non-zero limit is configured, new trades may be skipped when the spread exceeds it.
MAX SLIPPAGE (POINTS)
Default: 30
Sets the maximum permitted slippage according to the EA's execution logic. Actual trade execution depends on broker settings, liquidity, and market conditions.
ENGINE RIDER ON/OFF
Default: true
Enables or disables the RIDER trend engine.
ENGINE REBOUND ON/OFF
Default: true
Enables or disables the REBOUND engine, which can trade in both directions.
ENGINE CORE ON/OFF
Default: true
Enables or disables the CORE engine.
MAGIC NUMBERS
Defaults: 31001, 31002, and 31003.
These unique identifiers distinguish trades from the three engines. Change them if they conflict with the magic numbers used by another EA on the same account.
ACCOUNT TYPE - WHY HEDGING IS REQUIRED
Gold Triad Pro is designed for a hedging account because its engines manage positions independently.
For example, one engine may hold a buy position while another holds a sell position. A hedging account allows these positions to remain separate.
On a netting account, trades on the same symbol may be combined into a single net position. This is not the intended account model for Gold Triad Pro.
TRADING FREQUENCY
Gold Triad Pro does not have to open a trade every hour or every day. Trading frequency depends on the conditions identified by each engine and the current market environment.
Some periods may produce more opportunities, while other periods may remain quiet. The engines may also have different levels of activity at different times.
A period without new trades does not necessarily indicate a malfunction. Check the dashboard, engine switches, Algo Trading status, and configured spread limit if you suspect a problem.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1. CAN I RUN ONLY ONE ENGINE?
Yes. Use the individual engine switches to enable or disable RIDER, REBOUND, and CORE according to your preferences.
2. CAN DIFFERENT ENGINES HOLD OPPOSITE POSITIONS?
Yes. The engines operate independently and may hold positions in opposite directions. This is one reason a hedging account is required.
3. HOW IS GOLD TRIAD PRO DIFFERENT FROM THE FREE VERSION?
The free Gold Triad edition runs only the CORE engine with a fixed 0.01 lot size. Gold Triad Pro adds RIDER and REBOUND, adjustable lot sizes, individual engine switches, and additional trade-management features.
4. DOES THE EA USE MARTINGALE OR GRID TRADING?
The product specification states that each engine holds at most one position at a time and that the EA does not use martingale, grid trading, or averaging down. Confirm this behaviour against the compiled EA before publication.
5. CAN I USE OTHER SYMBOLS OR TIMEFRAMES?
Gold Triad Pro is designed and tuned for XAUUSD on H1. Its performance and behaviour on other symbols or timeframes are not established by this description.
6. WHY MIGHT AN ENGINE NOT OPEN A TRADE?
An engine may be disabled, its entry conditions may not be satisfied, or the configured spread guard may prevent a new entry. Check the dashboard, symbol, timeframe, account type, and Algo Trading status.
7. CAN I CHANGE THE ENGINE SETTINGS?
You can adjust the exposed inputs, including lot size, spread limit, slippage limit, engine switches, and magic numbers. The core strategy tuning is intentionally kept limited.
RISK DISCLOSURE
Trading gold involves substantial financial risk and may not be suitable for every trader. You may lose some or all of your trading capital.
Running multiple engines can create combined exposure across several positions. A stop-loss, early exit, trailing mechanism, market-mood filter, spread guard, or auto-pause feature does not eliminate trading risk or guarantee a particular outcome.
Actual execution may be affected by slippage, spreads, market gaps, liquidity, and broker conditions. Backtests and past performance do not guarantee future results. Losing trades and losing periods are possible.
Test Gold Triad Pro on a demo account before considering live trading. Verify its behaviour with your broker's contract specifications, review the combined exposure of all active engines, and use conservative position sizing.
Only trade with money you can afford to lose.
Gold Triad Pro is an automated trading tool. It does not guarantee profits or eliminate the risks associated with trading gold.
