Codex GoldeX

CodeX Goldex is an automated Expert Advisor developed specifically for Gold / XAUUSD trading.

The EA is designed to operate on an H1 chart using its default configuration. It analyses market structure, identifies breakout levels and manages entries with pending orders. Stop Loss and trade management are dynamically adjusted using volatility-based calculations.

CodeX Goldex does not use grid or martingale position sizing. The default fixed trading volume is 0.01 lot, while percentage-based risk management is also available.

2026 historical backtest

The reference historical test was performed using MetaTrader 5 Strategy Tester with historical real tick data provided by FP Trading LLC.

Small account historical test

The reference backtest was started with only $100 initial capital and a fixed 0.01 lot size. During the tested period, the maximum equity drawdown recorded by the Strategy Tester was $41.51 (6.09%).

This demonstrates that the EA was technically able to complete the tested historical period under those specific broker, leverage and market conditions with a $100 starting balance.

However, $100 should not be interpreted as a guaranteed or universally recommended minimum deposit.

Margin requirements, leverage, spread, slippage, execution quality, contract specifications and Gold volatility may differ significantly between brokers and market conditions. A larger account balance provides a greater safety margin.
