Overview

Nexus Pro is an Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5 that operates on the Forex market using a structured, rule-based approach. Unlike typical grid or martingale systems that expose the account to uncontrolled drawdown, Nexus Pro combines a trend-filtered entry with a progressive recovery engine and a turbo exit leg, all protected by multiple layers of safety logic.

The system is designed to close every trading cycle in profit, while keeping equity drawdown under strict control even during multi-year operations.

Default configuration is optimized for EURUSD on H1, tested with 100% real tick data over a 3-year period. The EA is fully adaptive to any Forex symbol via the standard  _Symbol  reference, but optimal parameters are symbol-specific. Users are encouraged to run dedicated backtests for each instrument before use, or contact the author for guidance on alternative pairs.

Core Strategy — How It Works

Nexus Pro operates in three progressive legs:

Leg 1 — Trend Entry
The EA opens the first position following the direction of a configurable EMA (default: EMA 20 on H1). Entries are restricted to a configurable trading window (default: 08:00–20:00) and blocked when correlated assets are already in recovery mode.

Leg 2 — Controlled Hedge
If Leg 1 enters a predefined loss (default: 1.5% of balance) and price has moved a minimum geometric distance, the EA opens a counter-direction position with a controlled multiplier (default: 1.6x). This leg is designed to stabilize the cycle, not to recover aggressively.

Leg 3 — Turbo Exit
If price continues against the cycle, a third leg opens with an aggressive multiplier (default: 2.0x) applied to the dominant volume. This leg accelerates the cycle toward its profit target, allowing a faster closure with a smaller retracement.

Each cycle closes automatically when a predefined profit target is reached, based on account balance, number of open positions, and current cycle stage.

• Graphic dashboard displaying balance, equity, floating P/L, open positions, cycle target, session status and shield state in real time

• Unique Magic Number for multi-chart, multi-symbol operation

• Dynamic Margin Protection: before every order, the EA calculates the resulting Margin Level and blocks the trade if it would fall below a configurable safety threshold (default 200%). This prevents Stop Outs on high-margin instruments without altering the strategy on EURUSD.

Risk Profile

Nexus Pro is not a high-frequency scalper and not a high-risk martingale. It is a low-frequency, structured recovery system that typically executes 20–25 trades per year on EURUSD H1.

The equity drawdown in the reference backtest remained under 7% over three years of continuous operation. The built-in safety layers (margin cap, fund check, multi-asset shield, drawdown kill switch) are designed to prevent catastrophic scenarios.

Recommended minimum deposit: 2,000 EUR with 0.01 initial lot, to respect the ratios used in the reference backtest.
