I have been trading since the early 2010s, self-taught for about eight years before deciding that intuition was not enough. In September 2019 I completed a specialised programme at Xeilos Trading Academy in Nice, on the French Riviera, focused on stock indices and order-book reading — under real - バージョン: 10.24

Elastic Hysteresis is a trading cockpit for MetaTrader 5.
Its entry engine happens to use a grid. That is the smallest part of it.
Everything the engine knows is on the chart, in real time: the volatility gauge and its arming thresholds, the exact level of the next entry, the four confluence sources it reads, what your guards have left, what has already been secured, and - when it declines to open - the name of the gate that is closed. Nothing is buried in a settings window. Nothing has to be guessed.
THE ONE IDEA
An entry should not be allowed while the market is still moving fast.
Most grid systems space their positions at a fixed distance and open the next one the moment price reaches it. This one measures volatility first, and waits.
That waiting is governed by a hysteresis filter: two thresholds instead of one. The market has to move clearly past the arming level, then fall clearly back below the release level. A single threshold flickers around its own value and lets marginal entries through. Two thresholds do not - and the gap between them is visible on the chart, as a number, at all times.
That is where the name comes from. It describes a mechanism, not a promise.
THE ENGINE
Entries are spaced using ATR instead of a fixed point distance, so the grid breathes with volatility rather than fighting it. Five spacing profiles, from calm to aggressive, plus a fully ATR-driven mode.
The next level is frozen at the instant the previous position opens, and drawn on the chart. What you see is the exact trigger, not a moving estimate that drifts while you look at it.
The grid runs in two phases, separated by a position count you choose. Phase one is deliberately unfiltered: the grid is allowed to breathe. Phase two re-applies a market condition of your choosing, so the basket only keeps growing when the market agrees. Phase two can also be switched off entirely, turning the position count into a hard ceiling.
FOUR CONFLUENCE SOURCES
Combinable, ten combinations, selected from a single control on the chart:
- Order Blocks, volume-weighted, drawn on up to three timeframes with their own volume filters
- RSI, on a master timeframe that drives the other sources with it
- A volume climax detector, reading pressure rather than price
- A logarithmic regression channel, with slope, channel position and trend
A fifth gate stands above all of them: the ATR gauge refuses any entry while volatility sits above a ceiling you define. It is the one that cannot be argued with.
RISK CONTROL
Risk management is the core of this product, not an accessory.
- Absolute basket loss cap, independent of the phase the grid is in
- Daily drawdown guard, in currency or percent, measured against balance or high water mark
- Prop-firm style trailing drawdown guard, with a high water mark stored per account
- Volatility circuit breaker that suspends opening during violent moves
- Free-margin check before every single order, with a safety reserve
- Broker volume limits read from the symbol, never assumed
- Spread guard
- Swap-time flattening, with a configurable countdown before rollover
- One-entry-per-candle guard against over-trading
- A re-entry delay after a basket closes, so a stale signal cannot reopen it instantly
Every guard closes the whole basket - grid, manual and adopted positions together. There is no partial shutdown that leaves an exposed remainder behind.
A shield on the panel shows, as a percentage, how much of your allowance is left before the guard acts. You are never surprised.
TAKING MONEY OUT
Partial closes bank money at defined steps. A soft trailing floor follows the peak of the basket and closes it when that peak is given back - including at a loss, if that is where the peak fell from. Honest trailing, not a stop that only exists on the winning side.
Three separate figures are displayed, and they are never merged: what is floating, what the trailing floor has locked, and what has already been banked this cycle. Most systems show one number and let you guess which part is really yours.
THE COCKPIT
Two movable panels and an engine panel with nine drawers, all editable directly on the chart.
Thirty-nine live readouts on the right panel alone: broker clock, connection, basket direction and result, mode and phase, active filter, grid profile and multiplier, the gate line, candle and day range, spread, ATR gauge, RSI, climax, regression, countdown, drawdown used, high water mark, market session, locked and banked amounts, shield, and the filter controls.
Every control carries its own tooltip, in English or French, switchable from the chart. Hover a blocked entry and the tooltip does not just name the problem - it gives the remedy.
SESSIONS AND NEWS
Market sessions are tracked and displayed - Tokyo, Singapore, London, New York - lunch breaks included. An economic calendar filter can hold entries around high-impact releases, with its own reminder and alert.
MANUAL AND AUTOMATIC
In manual mode you open the first position yourself; the grid manages the rest. In automatic mode the engine looks for its own entry, and tells you on screen which gate is closed when it declines.
The autopilot needs two clicks to arm. It never arms itself by accident, and it never arms itself on start-up.
Independent manual trades and grid reinforcements can be opened at any time from the panel, with their own lot field and their own magic number, without disturbing the grid geometry.
CALIBRATION
On a fresh installation, the expert calibrates itself to the symbol it is attached to. Grid spacing, targets, loss cap, volatility thresholds, spread limit and the lot ramp are derived from the instrument's own ATR and from your account size, rather than copied from a preset.
A default tuned for one market is meaningless on another - a distance that filters properly on one instrument does nothing at all on the next. This removes that trap, and it sizes the whole grid to what your account can actually carry.
Your own settings are stored per account and are never overwritten.
REQUIREMENTS
- MetaTrader 5, hedging account required. The expert will not open positions on a netting account: MetaTrader merges every position of a symbol into a single one there, so a grid cannot count its own steps.
- Any symbol. No hard-coded instrument, no account lock, no time limit.
- Sufficient free margin for the number of levels you configure.
WHAT THIS IS NOT
This is a grid system with a progressive lot ramp. It carries the risks that come with that, and the settings that limit those risks are documented rather than hidden. There is no claim of a fixed return, and no setting is presented as risk-free.
It will not make a losing idea profitable. What it does is refuse to add to a position while the market is still running, name the reason out loud, and close everything at the limit you set.
The expert assists a decision. It does not replace it.
Launch price - increases after the first 10 sales.
