VDelta CVD Divergence Pro is built on its own algorithm to surface one specific thing clearly: when price and underlying buying/selling pressure stop agreeing. It builds a Cumulative Volume Delta (CVD) line from estimated per-bar delta, detects where price swings diverge from CVD swings, and then filters every signal by the prevailing trend so you instantly see which divergences are with-trend and which are higher-risk counter-trend.

How It Works

The indicator estimates per-bar delta from the candle: where price closes within the bar's range, weighted by that bar's volume. A bar closing near its high contributes positive delta (buying pressure); near its low, negative delta (selling pressure). These are accumulated into a CVD line that resets each session, day, or runs continuously — your choice.

It then runs swing detection on price and reads the CVD value at each price swing point. When price makes a new extreme but CVD does not confirm it, that is a divergence:

• Regular divergence — price makes a higher high while CVD makes a lower high (or the bullish mirror). Classic reversal signal.
• Hidden divergence — price makes a lower high while CVD makes a higher high (or the bullish mirror). Continuation signal.

All detection is locked on the closed bar. What you see on history is what you would have seen live.

What Sets It Apart

★ Trend filter — separates high-probability from high-risk. A configurable EMA defines trend context. Divergences that align with the trend are drawn bold in their signal color; divergences against the trend are greyed out and thinned — still visible so you can decide, but clearly marked as the riskier "catching a falling knife" setups. This single feature addresses the most common reason divergence trades fail.

★ Clear visual hierarchy. Regular (reversal) divergences draw bold and solid as primary signals; Hidden (continuation) divergences draw thin and dotted as secondary context. You read the chart at a glance.

★ Up/down arrows at every signal. A clean arrow marks each divergence — up for bullish, down for bearish — colored by signal and greyed when counter-trend. Confidence without clutter.

★ Signal density preset. One dropdown — Low / Medium / High — controls how many divergences are detected, from only the cleanest to a busier, more sensitive chart. A Custom mode unlocks full manual control of swing depth and pairing for advanced users.

★ Information dashboard. A compact panel (top / middle / bottom right) shows delta method, reset mode, live trend direction (green up / red down), and current CVD value (green positive / red negative). Always oriented at a glance.

★ Alerts when it matters. Optional terminal popup, mobile push, and sound the moment a new divergence forms — with filters to alert only on with-trend or only on Regular signals. Off by default.

Recommended Use

Built for momentum and volume traders on Gold (XAUUSD), Nasdaq (US100), and S&P 500 (US500), primarily on M5 and M15.

• Use with-trend divergences (bold) as your primary signals; treat counter-trend (grey) as warnings to be careful.
• Combine the CVD line and divergences with your own strategy, structure, or existing indicators to confirm entries — it works as confirmation, not as a standalone system.
• Let the dashboard keep you oriented on trend and volume-delta bias.
