What Is ORB Displacement?

Every trading day follows the same institutional rhythm. The Asian session builds a quiet range. London opens and sweeps one side of it — taking out retail stops and building the liquidity needed for the real move. Then New York opens, displaces out of the Opening Range, and the direction is confirmed.

ORB Displacement automates every step of this 4-stage session analysis directly on your chart. It identifies the London sweep direction, defines the NY Opening Range, detects the displacement sequence, marks the exact Order Block and Fair Value Gap zones inside that displacement, and alerts you the moment price returns to those zones for a high-probability retest entry.

The 4-Stage Session Framework

① Asian Range Accumulation
The overnight Asian session high and low are automatically captured and drawn on the chart. This range is the reference point for the entire trading day — the liquidity pool that London will target.

② London Sweep — The Bias Engine
When London opens, ORB Displacement monitors which side of the Asian range gets swept. A sweep of the Asian Low signals a likely NY Buy reversal. A sweep of the Asian High signals a likely NY Sell reversal. This is the session bias — your directional filter for every signal that follows.

③ NY Opening Range Breakout (ORB)
At the NY open, a 15-minute Opening Range is defined and drawn on the chart. Once that window closes, the indicator watches for a displacement — a sequence of consecutive strong-bodied candles breaking out of the range with conviction. This is institutional momentum confirmed.

④ Order Block & FVG Retest — The Entry
Inside the displacement sequence, ORB Displacement automatically identifies the last opposing candle (Order Block) and any Fair Value Gaps left behind. When price pulls back into these zones and shows a reaction candle, the alert fires. That retest is your entry.
