Hi,

Thanks for your message. If you're unable to open both market and pending orders using Trade Manager in MT5 (version 3.50), it's most likely related to the "Algo Trading" settings in your MetaTrader 5 terminal.

To resolve this quickly and get everything working as expected, please contact our technical support at: https://www.investsoft.eu/contact
We’ll provide you with detailed guidance on what needs to be enabled or adjusted in your settings.

We’ll help you step by step to make sure everything works smoothly.

Hello,

When you configure the entry and management parameters in the panel of a specific chart, you enter the market and the manager begins to manage the trade... for example, if you have multiple BEs... I've noticed that every time the first one is activated, it manages and moves on to the second BE... the first one is unchecked for the next trade.

This is dangerous, and you have to constantly check whether they are correctly activated or not. Is there a way in the configuration to prevent them from being unchecked and leave them as they were initially configured if you're going to enter different trades using the same panel?

Thank you.

Hi There,

Firstly i would like to thank you for the Trade Manager, i am fully hooked on to it as it gives me peace of mind whenever i am not on my station to see the trades play out. Having used it for 3 months i will soon be renewing and buying the product.

Question:

- added Equity control feature - allows setting a profit or loss limit, defined either as a percentage of the account balance or as a fixed value in the account currency. Once the limit is reached, all trades are automatically closed.

'' if we have multiple tabs (pairs) open in MT5, do we need to update all tabs ? for example

1. tab : USDJPY - trade running TP set $300

2. tab : GBPUSD - Trade Running TP set $300

3. tab: AUDUSD - Trade Running TP set $ 300

Daily target : Usd 500

1. Do i have to update all 3 tabs and include Usd 500 as my profit target?

2. What is track trades? if i enter all symbols, then does the above question get answered, and do i have to do it for all active tabs running a trade

Regarding your question:

The answer to question 2 is actually directly connected to question 1 — it all depends on what exactly you're trying to achieve. The configuration can vary based on your trading goals and whether you want the equity control to apply globally across all symbols or individually per chart.

We recommend reaching out to our support team at https://www.investsoft.eu/contact so we can discuss your exact setup and walk you through the best way to configure it based on your needs.

We’ll be happy to assist and make sure everything works exactly as you want.

Hi. Great EA. I'm currently using it on my broker account with MT5 but now want to do a prop firm challenge and can't seem to download it onto their MT5 portal. From my MQL5 it only seems to allow a download to my live MT5 account. I can't seem to choose the propfirm account. Where can I find instructions?

Hi,

Since the latest MT5 update (version 5.00 from June 6, 2025), I can no longer use HOTKEYS on UNDOCKED charts. Note that the hotkeys still works when charts are docked, but they no longer work when charts are undocked. Before this last MT5 update, hotkeys were working on docked an dundocked charts.

Any chance you can have a look at this?

Thanks

Hi,

Thank you for your message. I have checked it and it looks like this is an issue that seems to have appeared with the latest MT5 update. It is likely a bug in the MT5 terminal itself. We have already seen someone else reporting this exact same problem here: https://www.mql5.com/en/forum/487805/page6#comment_56904542.

Unfortunately, this is not something we can fix on our side. It would need to be addressed by MetaQuotes in a future terminal update.

I have loaded the Forex Trade Manger to my MT5 platform, but the risk option is greyed out, so I am unable to input the risk I want on each trade. Is there a reason for this. I have this same Trade Manager also on a MT4 account and it works fine?

Question,

When I scale in a position with several entries, I get multiple position tool opened. Say scale in a position with 3 trade entries at 3 different entry prices, the trade manager will give me 3 position tool on my chart. Is there a function for only show 1 position tool with an average trade entry price, with only 1 stop loss and 1 take profit?

If it's not possible, that would be a great option for a future update.

Thanks

Hi,

Thank you for your message and suggestion.

You're right. Currently, when scaling into a position with multiple entries, the Trade Manager displays individual position tools for each entry. However, on non-hedge (netting) accounts, these trades are automatically merged by the platform, and the Trade Manager reflects them as a single position with the average entry price, one stop loss, and one take profit — exactly as you described.

As for hedge accounts, we understand the need for a more consolidated view. We’ll explore possible options in this area. I’ve noted down your suggestion and added it to our feature request list for future updates.

Let’s see what can be done to improve the experience here.

Thanks again for your valuable feedback.
