And is it only possible to place pending orders or can I also directly open trades?

This is related to the MetaTrader platform settings. In most cases, AutoTrading is disabled, which prevents orders from being placed.

Hi, I have purchased this again, however it is only allowing me to download it on one MT5 (I have 3 brokers) I installed it on one, it won't allow me to install on the other 2. It shows in the navigator section, but only says I have to buy it again, bot install. I have gone into the community section and made sure my MQl5 log in is correct, tried to copy the file over, tried deleting and reinstalling, closed it down and re-opened, but still says I have to buy it. Any ideas? TIA.
The correct way to install Trade Manager is directly inside each MetaTrader terminal using the Market tab. That ensures the license is properly linked to your MQL5 account in that specific terminal.

Partial closing helps you lock in profit during pullbacks while still leaving part of the position open. In Trade Manager you can automate up to 4 partial levels or close part of multiple trades manually with one click.

This situation is related to the recent MetaTrader 5 update. Especially on Mac computers, there have been issues affecting chart panels in general. It is not a problem specific to Trade Manager, but rather how the platform currently handles panels. This has already been widely discussed on the MQL5 forum.

I have a problem. I bought the Forex Trade Manager and have activated it. But when I try to open it in MT5, nothing works and my MT5 freezes. Then I have to restart my Mac. In the screenshot, you can see that only 'Forex Trade Manager' appears in text form in the top right.

Suggestion/Request for more partial closing levels
I'm an amateur forex guy on my learning journey. I'm really glad I came across your products. Trade manager and grid module are great tools with comprehensive feature sets. Love the range and depth of features and how detailed and intricate we can go depending on our strategy and imagination. Still exploring and experimenting but feel really empowered because these tools help me overcome one of my biggest challenges i.e. I have a day job and can't monitor my trades live.
For features in particular, I really like the partial closing feature. But could I request that there be more levels (currently 4 levels I believe) or even infinite options of levels for partial closing? E.g. User defined if it was possible for custom settings for each level or rules based ranges.
Talking about the gold markets where runners can go 300 pips and more recently. As an example, I'm thinking of using partial closing by closing 0.01 lot every 10 pips... 300 pips would mean 30 partials. But still top out at a relatively risk averse friendly max of only 0.30 lot exposure. Partnered with the activate break even feature, maybe past 20 pips of profit, I feel like its got the makings of a good default strategy.
It would be great if this could be worked into the current options available e.g. TP1 @50pips =50% lotsize closed, TP2 @100pips =25% lotsize closed, TP3 range rules between above 100 pips upto 150pips close 0.02 pips every 10 pips, TP4 range rules close 0.01 every 10 pips, TP5 range rules close 0.01 every 5 pips, etc.
Somehow my trail stop experiment is still a little ways away. The range of gold market retracements are bonkers. So thats why I'm looking at very incremental partial closings every 10pips and BE adjustments every 50 or 100 pips.
Really hoping to hear something favorable, perhaps others with smaller capital would find this strategy useful too.
BTW I have purchased metatrader vps and uploaded my trade manager but somehow when I make a trade on my phone using my brokers app (non mt5) it is not being managed by trade manager. When I do get to my PC later I can see my positions in mt5 but no SL or TP filled. Perhaps there's a guide or manual you can refer me to for these vps linked troubleshooting.

At the moment, full basket level management for the entire grid, such as trailing the whole grid as one structure instead of individual orders, is still under development. Currently most trailing logic works per individual position.
We are actively working on expanding grid and basket management features, so more advanced collective handling will be introduced in upcoming updates.
