Expert Advisor for XAUUSD (Gold) based on the Candle Range Theory (CRT). It reads the previous H4 candle, waits for the price to sweep its high or low, and enters on M5 when a confirmation candle closes. All trades are opened and managed automatically.
How it works
- H4 candle: the previous closed H4 candle must have a strong body (at least 50% of its range).
- Sweep: an M5 candle takes out the H4 high (sell setup) or the H4 low (buy setup), closes back inside the range and has a solid body.
- Confirmation: within the next 3 M5 candles, price must break the body of that candle, before reaching the 50% level of the H4 candle.
- Entry: the trade opens as soon as the confirmation candle closes. The EA reads only closed candles, so signals do not repaint.
Risk management
- The stop loss is placed beyond the extreme of the current H4 candle, then adjusted by built-in stop loss rules.
- Very short stops are widened (by default, under 10 pips becomes 12 pips).
- TP1 = 1:1 and TP2 = 1:2.
- Optional breakeven: when TP1 is reached, the TP2 trade moves its stop to the entry.
- Every trade has its stop loss and take profit set from the moment it opens. No martingale, no grid, no averaging.
Settings you control
- Trades per signal: 2 trades (TP1 + TP2) or 1 single trade.
- If 1 single trade, close at: TP1 or TP2.
- Lot per trade: default 0.01.
- Move SL to breakeven on/off, and breakeven offset.
- Maximum spread filter.
- Magic number, so it can run next to other EAs.
- Alerts: popup and mobile push notifications.
Recommendations
- Symbol: XAUUSD (Gold). The EA reads M5 and H4 by itself, so it works on any chart timeframe.
- Account: hedging recommended. On netting accounts it opens 1 trade per signal.
- VPS: recommended, so it runs 24/5.
- Test it first in the Strategy Tester or on a demo account, and use a lot size that fits your risk.
Built-in protections: it checks the market session, free margin, broker stop levels and trading permissions before every order, and does not trade when the market is closed.
