Flipped GOAT Vanguard – precision intraday EA for Gold (XAUUSD)
Vanguard is a fully automated intraday system for gold, built to catch fast, high-momentum moves with strictly defined risk. It prepares its orders once a day, enters only when the market confirms, and is usually flat again within a minute or two.
No martingale. No grid. No averaging down. No overnight positions. Every trade has a hard Stop Loss and Take Profit from the moment it opens.

GETTING STARTED
1. Open a raw-spread / ECN account, ideally with a GMT+3 server and leverage 1:100 or higher.
2. Attach Flipped GOAT Vanguard to an XAUUSD M1 chart.
3. Enable Allow Algo Trading and make sure the Algo Trading button is green.
4. Keep the default settings, or lower Risk per Trade % to 0.5 for the first weeks.
5. If your broker's server is not GMT+3, shift both trading times by the difference (e.g. GMT+2 server: 00:05–21:00).
6. Run on a VPS so the terminal is online all trading day.
On small balances, whenever 1% risk would calculate below the broker's minimum lot (0.01), Vanguard trades the minimum lot, so actual risk per trade is higher than set until the account grows.
FAQ
Does Vanguard use martingale, grid or averaging?
No. Fixed risk, hard SL and TP on every trade.
Does it hold trades overnight or over the weekend?
No. Everything is closed at the end time.
Why are trades so short?
Vanguard is built to capture short, fast moves. If the move continues, the 1:2 target is usually reached within seconds to a few minutes. If it stalls, the time exit closes the trade before the move fades.
Can I use it on other symbols?
It was built and tested only for XAUUSD.
Why are my results different from the backtest or the signal?
Usually spread, commission, slippage or a different server time zone. Use a raw-spread account and check the time settings for your server.
Is there a news filter?
No. Turn off specific days in Trading Days if you want to avoid events such as NFP Fridays.
What if my terminal restarts or I change the timeframe?
Vanguard recognises its existing orders and positions and does not open duplicates.
