TMA EA by Achira Meegasthanna is an automated Expert Advisor based on a Triangular Moving Average (TMA) band concept. The EA analyzes price movement relative to dynamically calculated upper and lower TMA bands and uses candle confirmation to identify potential reversal signals.

📊 TMA Band Analysis

The EA calculates a TMA-based central line together with dynamic upper and lower bands.

The band width is determined using a configurable deviation value, allowing the user to adjust how sensitive the strategy is to price movements outside the bands.

🔄 Reversal-Based Entry Signals

The EA looks for price movements beyond the TMA bands combined with candle-direction confirmation.

Sell condition:

  • Previous candle reaches above the upper TMA band

  • Previous candle closes bullish

  • Current candle closes bearish

  • A new Sell signal is generated

Buy condition:

  • Previous candle reaches below the lower TMA band

  • Previous candle closes bearish

  • Current candle closes bullish

  • A new Buy signal is generated

This combination is designed to identify potential reversals after price moves outside the TMA bands.

When a new opposite signal appears, the EA can close existing positions in the opposite direction before opening the new trade.
