How Session Edge Lab Works
Each trading day begins with analysis of the Asian session structure.
The indicator evaluates:
- Asian High and Asian Low
- Asian session range
- Range percentile compared with previous sessions
- Market range regime: Narrow, Normal, Wide
- Asian Close position inside the session range
Based on these parameters, Session Edge Lab creates a current session profile.
The profile is then compared with historical sessions that had similar characteristics.
Historical Context Analysis
Session Edge Lab does not simply display current price movement.
It analyzes historical examples and shows:
- How similar sessions behaved previously
- Which side was reached first: High First or Low First
- Whether historical examples more often resulted in Continuation or Reversal
- How many historical examples support the scenario
The indicator uses sample-size protection to avoid presenting unreliable conclusions from very small historical groups.
State + Profile Model
Session Edge Lab combines several market characteristics into one statistical profile:

This helps traders evaluate whether a historical tendency has remained consistent over time.
Example: Older sample 76% -> Recent sample 68%.
