GOLD Pulsar

After a month of using Pulsar, I'm very satisfied with its results. Excellent EA. Congrats Fanur!

I've been using GOLD Pulsar live since August 18 and it works very well for me so far. Unlike typical gold breakout EAs, it works via market rather than pending orders. Although its expectancy per trade is about as tiny as theirs, it manages to avoid the high slippage that they incur, so my live results match backtest really well. Moreover, these trades copy to another account well, which also isn't the case for typical breakouts caught by other EAs. I got 33 trades so far, 67% win rate, PF 1.90, RF 1.50 (not bad for just 3 weeks until now September 8), expectancy 0.69 USD (all of these are scaled down from risk percent based lots to 0.01 lots by a rather advanced account history analysis tool that I use). When I now run a backtest over (almost) this same period (but with full day of August 18 and not yet including the partial September 8) using my broker's real ticks, it's 35 trades, 66% win rate, PF 1.93, RF 1.58, expectancy 0.70 USD (at 0.01 lots). That's impressively close match for an EA with such tiny expectancy.

It's been a little over a week since I bought Gold Pulsar, and I have to admit it's really well designed! You can choose your entry frequency mode, set your risk percentage, and that's it. It doesn't take positions all the time, but when it does, it tries to make a profit, and if it experiences a drawdown, it tries to exit with a small loss. So far, everything’s going well, and I’m looking forward to seeing how this EA evolves over time with future updates.

An excellent Gold EA; what I really appreciate is that there is a stop-loss (SL) for every order and the SL/TP ratio is very solid—something extremely rare, or even non-existent, among other robots on the market. The EA trades relatively frequently and is currently generating impressive profits. Of course, the SL gets hit occasionally, but that happens very rarely so far and is simply part of the game; expecting never to hit the SL would be unrealistic, which is why Pulsar's favorable ratio is such a great feature. Kudos for this high-quality work.

Great EA that builds on safety through precise buys without GRID and Martingale, always keeping only one position open. The EA is very sensitive to the broker, so I strongly recommend trying backtesting on real data and a demo account with your broker before deploying larger capital. It works well for me with the broker Fusion Markets and, according to the author, also very well on IC Markets. In real trading, the EA currently seems to be even better than in the backtest (mode: every tick based on real ticks), while in a backtest without real data, the EA is overly optimistic. SL is reached occasionally, but after the update, it improved fundamentally. The support from the author is great, which in combination with the EA makes this scalping robot one of the best and safest—however, it is necessary to account for occasional losses, and we will see what the long-term development will be based on the behavior of gold, but that is only due to the precision of the scalping style. For the money, I recommend it, because within prices of similar and much more dangerous EAs on the MQL market, this EA is one of the best in terms of price-performance ratio.
